I have more than 2 years of experiences of using several different LED face masks. While searching for a new one recently, I was quickly attracted by this unique-looking Halo LED Face Mask. To date, I’ve been using it for about three weeks (3-4 times a week) and I like it very much. It effectively minimized the pores on my cheek areas and shallowed the wrinkles around my eyes and on my forehead. My face looks noticeably smoother, tighter and brighter. I am so happy and satisfied, that I’d love to share some of my opinions on this home beauty device which is loaded with quite a few new features comparing to the similar products on market. 1. The whole design is quite innovative. As shown in picture 1 and 2, it looks like a fencing helmet without back part. This maximizes the surface area for more LED light bulbs. Indeed, the unit has as many as 807 light bulbs (three colors) aiming to improve the efficacy of treatment. Adding a detachable neck piece is also revolutionary. This would be extremely applauded by the seniors like me, who’s been looking for a home beauty device to fight wrinkles in neck area. 2. The 2nd new feature is “cordless”. This is unarguably so useful that I don’t have to stay in a place determined by the length of a cord. Recharging is easy. I just need to sit the mask on the charge station and walk away. The unit will be ready to use again in a few hours. 3. Another innovation is the pre-programed treatment. The unit has no control box, and the on/off switch is on the right side of the mask (see picture 3). With only one touch, I can enjoy the 25 minutes tri-color treatment: 10 min. of each red and blue, and 5 min. of orange. If I like, I can manually select the color I’d like to use as well. 4. The eye protection is much better now. As shown in picture 4, the mask has a pair of soft and removable swimming-goggles-like eye protectors. The light leakage is very minimum. I have no problem to see through the mask and do all kinds of things, like playing with my cell phone or watching TV programs, without worrying my eyes would get hurt. Very thoughtful. 5. Adding a head-top strap to the unit is an exceptionally brilliant idea. The strap carries majority of the mask weight and allows me to walk around (if necessary) freely and safely. As for the minus side, I hope the manufacture will be able to improve a couple of things to make this wonderful product even better. 1. Since there is no opening on the mask, the breathes would cause moisture accumulating after a few minutes of using. This may be designed to prevent the skin from getting dry due to the treatment, but I certainly need more time to get used to it. 2. It would be more ideal if the weight can be further reduced.

I'm totally recommending it!! I have been using it for a more than a year two times a week and I can see the difference and the transformation of my skin that benefits on my face is more clear and tied that uneven scars and brown spots are gone, my face looks more refreshed and smoother.

Final Thoughts The Aphrona LED Face Mask is a fantastic option for anyone looking to incorporate light therapy into their skincare routine. I'll admit that I went with this particular LED "mask" mostly for the aesthetics. It's definitely sleek and modern~ you can even keep it on the credenza in the dining room for a G-rated conversation piece. For the price, I was expecting it to be amazing. It was a slight impulse buy on Prime Day and I was excited to be saving $50 bucks on an expensive item that offers the potential to help me age gracefully. Alas, I was beyond disappointed. Let's get into it, shall we? For starters- it did not come with any instructions. Nada, zip, not even a clue. Now I'm a fairly intelligent human, but this is my first LED "mask" so a few pointers would have been nice. The small sensor ON/OFF button on the right side is SUPER touchy and inconsistent. It either turns on to red lights when you press it in just the right spot or you get a surprise fireworks display with all the various lights cycling thru. Don't get me wrong- it's a pretty show, but I'm confident that's not what should be happening while using this. Again- a little 2 pager would have been helpful. Even IKEA style would have been better than nothing. Let's move on to the comfort of this "mask". There is none. It's literally giving Hannibal Lector vibes and I'm just not into that. {There's a strap that snaps in place over the crown of the head and another that wraps around the back which is a whole heap of NOPE for me.} It's heavy, bulky and feels like a chunk of plastic because... it is. There's a small slit near the mouth opening so breathing calmly while wearing this "mask" isn't gonna happen for most of us, especially for anyone who has even a subtle cue of claustrophobia. This feels anxiety provoking vs relaxing. It should come as no surprise to know that the inside steams up because of this lack of air flow. Lastly, the eye guards are absurdly tight on my eyeball sockets. I can fully appreciate the vision protection but not at the expense of an insta migraine. In a nut shell: this is a "mask" that's a hybrid of Hannibal Lector meets Darth Vader with great potential for a mini LSD trip. If you have epilepsy- steer clear!! If you do not have epilepsy, also just steer clear!! 1,000% do NOT recommend this LED "mask". As cool as it may be to set on the credenza as a piece of alien cyborg "art", it's going back tomorrow.

I have been using other brand skin care equipment for long time until I came across this LED face mask therapy on Amazon with a good discount and decided to give a try. I have been using it for almost 2 weeks and pretty satisfied with it. It’s cordless and I can just put it on with my hands free. I can walk around doing chores, watch TV, iPad, call or message friends as I can see through from the eye protection window. It saves time and makes the treatment session not boring. This equipment also looks so cool and even my son wants one when he saw me wearing it LOL 😂 I use hydration facial mask under the equipment to allow maximum absorption of the essences. After the treatment, my skin looks smooth and lighter. The neck piece is nice to have compared to other LED face masks. The only reason I give a 4 stars is that the touch pad is too sensitive that I constantly changed the mode when I touched it by accident and I didn’t even realized. I also wish the equipment could be less heavy. Overall it’s a great and novel product!

I recently tried the LED Face Mask Light Therapy and I’m really impressed! Even though it’s a bit on the pricey side, the results are truly remarkable. The mask uses blue light for acne treatment and red light for wrinkle reduction, and I’ve already started noticing improvements in my skin. The mask comfortably fits both my face and neck, which is a huge bonus. It’s very easy to use and you just put it on and relax for 10-20 minutes while the mask does its thing. After a few sessions, my skin feels smoother, and the redness from breakouts has definitely gone down. Pros: Convenient, comfortable fit for face and neck, effective acne and wrinkle treatment. Cons: Takes some time to see results, and it’s a bit bulky to wear. Overall, it’s a great addition to my skincare routine, and I’m excited to keep using it!

Good mask that has lots of great features and seems effective. (I've used two other led devices, and this is my third.) That said, it feels hard to breathe in this mask and can get uncomfortably steamy inside while wearing it. It's particularly stuffy when worn with the neck/chest attachment. If it had better/more ventilation and some comfort modifications I would absolutely love this mask. I like the charging stand and quality of the leds and the multi color functions. The touch control, however, is located on the temple area of the device, so it's really easy to accidentally touch the control and change the settings while in use. Also, the thick, elastic bands meant to secure the mask are rough on my hair, and don't function well related to a secure fit. The mask is pretty heavy as well, making the eye protection part of the mask a source of pressure that I find really uncomfortable and hard to fit my face. I lay down and rest the mask on my face in order to make it less uncomfortable, and I have stopped using the neck attachment since it further impedes ventilation. I wanted to recommend this one, but it needs a lot of improvement to make this a regular part of my skincare regimen. 3-stars for quality and functions/attachments/packaging. That said, I wouldn't personally repurchase again, and will invest in something else later.
