After Haveing a Lake Michigan king salmon take my bait, I had pole holders 5 times the price slip and it would have cost me my entire setup and fish if not for being lucky and getting my hands on it quickly. the price is crazy cheep and they are very heavy and solid. the only improvement I see, would be to have a bigger wing on the unit for tightening the holders adjustable locken screw but a screw driver makes it simple....time will tell about the durability but great so far. Review: I had the plastic ones, they were ok but I know these are much stronger.

Stripped as soon as I tightened it down and rusted within 48 hrs. Definitely not 316 stainless as advertised!
