VIZIO SB3621N-E8 2.1 Speaker System - Wireless Speaker(s) - Tabletop, Wall Mountable

Best in the under 500 dollar class when it was first released. Still great, but Dolby Atmos wasn't a thing yet when this was made. I got it originally on sale for just under one hundred. What an amazing deal. Great sound, fills a large room easily. The sub shakes you when there are explosions on screen. LOVE IT!

I read several reviews prior to purchasing this sound bar/ sub. The reviews indicated it was one of if not the best system for the price. Went to SAMS and compared this system to BOSE, Vizio 5.1, and on other (sorry can't remember) What I found was this less expensive system was as good or better than the others.Saved some money by finding this system on Amazon as factory refurbished. Upon arrival it looked like new. Absolutely perfect. Hooked up to TV in 5 minutes. Sub connected by bluetooth immediately. The sound is fantastic. I purchased the bar because it seem I could not tell any difference in level 40 to level 100 in my TV when watching Netflix. This bar makes all the difference. Sound is great,voices are clear and distinct. Bass is something my TV simply couldn't produce, the sub on this unit is a great addition and sounds great. I don't think I would ever purchase a soundbar without one after having one. Remote is well made and functions as expected. Support 800 number is right on the back of the remote alhough I have not needed it. Don't know how I've gone so long without a soundbar and this Vizio is exceptional.

I'm very happy with the clear sound from my SB3621n-E8 sound bar, and it looks great. I've knocked off a star for some secondary issues:The mounting holes are 695 mm apart, which is fine for wall mounting. However, those holes are really too far apart for mounting it using brackets from the VESA mounting holes on my TV. It would be nice if they provided another pair of holes with closer spacing, or at least indicated where it was safe to drill new ones.The buttons on the bar are hard to see without very good lighting. (The buttons on the SB3821-C6 are not covered, and are much easier to distinguish.)I regularly switch between two sources. When you turn it on, there's no indication of the current input channel. The channel is indicated by a pattern of lights, but only immediately after changing the input. (So if it started on the right channel, you have to walk around to all the others before getting back to it.) There's a significant delay between changing the input and displaying the light code. It also has to listen to a channel for several seconds before providing any sound. As a result, you'll spend considerable time with video but no sound when you change sources - even if you remember the commands.

I rarely write reviews, but I had to mention how amazing this sound bar is! We have a projector in our main room attached to an Apple TV and we needed a better solution to the sound than using our little speakers. I got this soundbar and subwoofer and now I feel like we have our own personal home theater! We connect it via Bluetooth from the Apple TV and the sound is phenomenal! It's ground rumbling! We also play music out of it and I never knew what I was missing until we got this. I'm just floored! The only issue I have, is that there seems to be a little bit of a lag with the Bluetooth. So when we watch something the picture and the sound are just very slightly off. This may not be an issue of the soundbar, because I'm sure if we plugged a cable from the Apple TV to it, it would sound fine. Anyway, overall I'm so stoked for this product. It has been an absolute game changer!

It sounds great, when it works. It started to act funny after a few months.

Bought this unit to burn up some Amazon reward points. Read LOTS of reviews on this system but one really caught my attention(not a amazon review, but in a electronics magazine) where the reviewer said it has just as good as sound quality as systems costing much, much more(they had categories based on dollar amount) Let me add that earlier in the year I bought a Bose 700 sound bar AND Sub for TV that is watched the most. Really, you can't compare the two units. The Vizio is twice as good as far as sound goes....at least. It's smaller than the Bose as well. As far as set up? both are Bluetooth and both are supposed to easily automatically "link up" on their own but the Bose was a huge hassle and this Vizio was a snap. I'm now curious how good the upgraded versions of this unit would sound like......

Honestly I was going to buy the Bose Brand at first, My landlord heard me talking about buying a Sound Bar and told me how he literally just bought a Sound Bar the other day and just got it in the mail that day. He told me that once he was done setting it up how it made his TV sound 100x better. So if I was going to buy a Sound Bar I should buy this one instead of paying an Arm & A Leg for the Bose Brand. I ordered this Sound Bar and it is literally the best $114 I have spent in a while. I recommend this Sound Bar to any and everybody that is looking to buy one. You will not be disappointed.

Do not buy this. There is no digital display - only green bars on one side. You have no idea what input is being used because of lack of display. The only way to know if by playing something and randomly clicking input. Because there's a lag, this sometimes takes minutes to figure out. After a very short time, the subwoofer began to crackle (not even at loud volume) and only with certain formats of movies/shows. Terrible product.
