How come the serving size is 2g but per serving has 420mg of magnesium? If there are no other ingredients and it is pure, 2g = 2000mg? I'm confused.

420mg is the magnesium content of the magnesium malate. The Malate makes up the rest.

how does it taste? fishy?

Doesn’t taste like anything. It’s micronized meaning it dissolves completely in water or you can add it to a flavored water, Gatorade, protein shake if you like. I add it to my protein shake
