I absolutely love this outdoor dimmer! It works perfectly with my string lights and makes adjusting the brightness super easy. The wireless remote control has great range — I can dim or turn the lights on/off from inside the house without any issues. The timer function is a great bonus and saves me the trouble of remembering to turn them off every night. The build quality feels solid and weatherproof — it’s handled rain and humidity without any problems. Installation was quick and simple; just plug it in and pair the remote. Works wonderfully! Attached to my string lights that are hung over my arch. Love that there's 4 brightness options. 100% lights up the back half of my 3 acre property. The lowest one is very ambient and sets a relaxing mood. Great find! Must have for outdoor string lights.

This dimmer actually worked great once I understood how to set it up. The remote is nice to have. I feel both the dimmer and the remote are well made. This is a stand along dimmer meaning it is not controlled by an app. I decided I really did want a dimmer I could control with the Apple Home App so I did end up returning this dimmer and got one compatible with the Home app. However, the Palawell Dimmer did everything is was supposed to and was a quality product.

Works perfectly on our LED strung patio lights. Smooth dimming!, which is not always the case with LED dimmers. All functions work as expected, very easy to use and actually worked straight out of the box. If I had one suggestion it would be to have a power on/off button on the box itself. The power-on button (box) does a "step through" of all the 4 dimming levels; eventually getting to the off position. Noting: The remote however does have this direct on/off button and functionality. With On/Off on the box this review would be 5 stars all the way. I would still highly suggest this grounded wall dimmer :)

Worked well so far this first season, but I wish it had more dimming settings. I used them on old incandescents so they'd last longer and not trip our breaker. For my use, there was another brand with 8 settings of brightness and it worked a little better. I can't give it four stars because it performs as advertised and seems robust and weatherproof but if you absolutely need more dimming options, there are other brands

I'm drawing about 360 Watts and it works just fine. All I'm using it for is dimming so I can't speak to the other functions. I like that when it's turned on with the remote, it returns to the dimming level it was at when it was turned off, either with the remote or disconnected from commercial power. The only thing I wish it would do, is if it was ON when commercial power is turned off then on, it would return to ON. Sadly, it defaults to OFF and can only be turned on with the remote. I only have one but the spec says you can have multiple dimmers paired to 1 remote. I'm wondering, is each remote unique, and you can have multiple dimmers, each with it's own unique remote? Anyway, it works and I'm happy.

remote is very temperamental. i requires pushing the on and off buttons several times before it turns on/off. Wouldn't purchase again.

Works as advertised. The remote is decent and most of all, my wife loves it.

Bought this because I was tired of the “wi-fi smart plug” that was not working/remained undetected half of the time. This is old school technology and work super well, easy to install and the diming options offer a wide range of luminosity. The remote is also working like a charm. So far, so good.

Just tested it with my 100 feet 50 LEDs backyard lights. It works great. It has an individual button for four settings, 25% 50% 75%, and 100%. It also has "+ and -" buttons for small increments and a timer to shut off the lights. Not too expensive but not cheap. I got a 10% discount. I'm not too sure about leaving this outdoors, since it doesn't seem to be waterproofed. I do recommend this product.
