Does the machinedo monogramming?

The machine does not do monogramming. You would need an embroidery machine to do that. You can however sew very small alphabet letters so you could write someone’s name. I bought this to take to quilting classes because it is lightweight. You can buy an embroidery only machine for approx. the same price and usually the combination machines are higher in cost.
