I was surprised at how many wonderful and different ideas this book provides. Not only is it a good source for your first ideas-it contains several ways to refine your basic structure-I really enjoyed looking at the pictures-as well as the Henson tips to make the project go better!

The book is alright, for me I found YouTube to be a better option as you can watch what's being done. Some people like to read, which is fine. But I am more hands on. Overall a good purchase

Just pictures of sheds, no building plans, you have to buy them separately. Don't buy.

Lots of info and plans

This book is completely misleading. It's a very cursory overview of garages and offers only about 40 pages of actual information, all of which is only helpful if you don't know what a garage is. The rest of the book is just plans which you can view online for free.

The book is good with a lot of illustrations but all the garage examples look like little houses instead of garages/ shops.

The first ~20 pages are the instructions for building the garage, which is not enough detail IMO. You'll need to do additional research at each step of the build. But at least it covers how to do the foundation, other books I've seen just say "pay a professional to do this." The last ~30 pages are nothing but garage designs, which are not actual plans and you need to pay extra for the plans. So, most of the book is not helpful to building a garage.

If you’re looking at ideas for your dream shop order this book

Just over 40 pages of general DIY notes on carpentry and pouring a concrete slab. However, you won't be using this book as a guide to build anything. Most of the book (over 100 pages) is actually a catalogue for the company's building plans. It's also exclusively about timber framing, so no information at all on block work, insulation, or anything else. If you're living anywhere other than the United States, and actually plan to roll up your sleeves and build a garage with your own hands, this is NOT for you.

This is a great book to build your own garage it has most if not all the info you need with lots of pictures and detailed explanation. However more than half the book is just plans they condensed the how to to the first part of the book. Still happy with it but it could have been a much smaller book as I already knew the shape of the garage but if you need ideas on how to make it look the whole book will be useful

This book has some tips in it and is essentially an advertising vehicle to try and sell you garage plans, there are not loads of plans in the book just pictures and ways to buy the plans. Given 2 stars only because it might be useful to beginners.

Really feel duped as I have just paid for a company catalogue! All the plans it shows are available to purchase - at over $400 per pdf. Don't waste your time and money on it.
