RARE Sode effect - Horrible GAS and it's supposed to do the opposite. I even tried taking a 1/4 of a dose. Followed all directions. Recommended by my medical professional for my digestion situation. My body did NOT like it. Great product thou!

Okay. Doesn't seem too strong. I use 1/4 tablet to a 1/2 tablet at a time. It works fair. Ive never tried a whole tablet, just to be safe.

After years of taking OTC and prescription meds for acid reflux I have been diagnosed with several vitamin deficiencies and rosacea. I read an article that recommended taking Betaine Hydrochloride to correct the problem of not having enough stomach acid, a common problem for people who have taken medications like Prilosec (omeprazole). Doctors are quick to prescribe these medications, and having chronic acid reflux is dangerous and painful, however relief comes with a price. Please do your own research on the dangers of long-term use of these drugs. When I eat a meal that includes meat I take one or two tablets. I no longer have a problem with acid reflux provided I don't eat junk food. I feel better, and when I go back to the doctor I'll have my vitamin levels tested to see if my deficiencies have changed. I'll update my review after I receive my results. I have deficiencies in B 12 and iron. My rosacea has not changed, unfortunately. Research Betaine Hydrochloride and be cautious about taking aspirin and Nsaids while taking Betaine Hydrochloride.

I was so disappointed when I saw that this had Porcine in it. I'm an avid vegan and I try to be very careful about not consuming animal products. I was shocked to see that you say this product is Vegan Friendly when in fact it's Not. Just keep it real with folks. I gave you 3 stars for the price, but I'm a nice person.

I use these instead of Apple Cider Vinegar to protect my teeth. They absolutely cure my reflux. Depending on the size of meal and protein amount, I take anywhere from 2 to 4 pills and have 0 reflux or bloating. They can be taken right before eating or even right after. Doesn't matter. Finally, I've tried other products and none of them have as good of an impact as the Country Life ones. Unsure why, but I'll probably be on these for the rest of my life!
