The jeans are comfortable and roomy enough to ride comfortably. They do run big in the waist. Everywhere else they fit perfectly. In the waist they feel about a full size too big. The pads come out easily a d allow you to store them if you commute. That helps with not needing a change of clothes. As far as the jeans go, they aren’t abrasion resistant at all. Only the pads are CE Lvl 2. NOT the jeans. Compared to the other brands that run $200+, these are just as good, or better. The hip and waist area of the jeans are too long, as well. If you pull them up to where the crotch should be, the belt loops are around your belly button, not your waist. At least that's how the fit was for me. I don't like having saggy pants in the crotch. It impedes your mobility. If they could fix that, these would be a 5 star jean easily.

Yeah I miss these pants. They finally tore at the in seam and really badly too. Either way, they held up incredibly year for a year's worth of ownership. They even saved me from a few accidents I went through when I first started. They're fashionable, lowkey and will keep you safe. Many people always assume these were just regular jeans. The padding also kept me safe from those mentioned accidents. I barely notice the pants are armored until after a good while of sitting. My only qualm was how the padding was fitted. The knees while good at keeping it in place, was very finicky to remove for washing. The hips are easier but far more looser because of how simple the sleeve is. Outside of that, if you need budget protection while being lowkey about it. Snag these! Just refrain from doing a lotta squats like I tend to do and these'll last you a good while.

Only two rides with these pants, but they fit perfectly and feel quite sturdy. As in other reviews, yes, when standing/walking, the knee pads are a bit lower than the knees. That's fine, you're not wearing them for protection from tripping. On the bike, in the riding position, the knee pads are in the perfect position. The hip pads are where they need to be and feel sturdy as well. The pants overall are very comfortable! I'm going to order the grey pair so I have two pairs on hand when needed! I'm 6'2", 240 lbs., and normally wear 36x32 sized pants, the same size I ordered. Perfect fit!

I was a little skeptical with the price of these pants, but they are very well made and my husband says they are super comfy. They move with him to make a more comfortable ride on his motorcycle. I like that they have padding on the hips and knees, which is pretty important for safety reasons. They wash and dry very well with no shrinking or issues.
