This rug is beautiful! And for the price it’s great.I’ve ordered three others and they were cheaply made, this is a true thick sturdy rug.I love it. Don’t hesitate to order. The starburst is more light grey than white. It kinda looks lighter on picture but it’s a lovely addition to my living room.

I bought this for my 15-year-old granddaughter who just got her own room after the family bought a new house. I was looking for something that could grow with her, that would fit her now, and would also work for her as she grew up. I just got back from visiting them and this rug is absolutely beautiful (so great looking I'm thinking about changing the color scheme in at least one of my rooms so I can get one!). Because it is wool, I know it will last for many years. And both she and my daughter love it. In fact, my daughter has already begun hinting.The design is subtle and very beautiful and the feel of the rug is great. My daughter was very surprised that this was wool with how soft it is. I will buy more of the rugs by this compeny and, if Safevieh is the designer, I will definitely be looking for designs by this designer!By the way, the price and speed of shipping is also superb!

I really want to love this rug! Unfortunately, as beautiful as it is, I asked salute Lee hate the way it sheds like crazy! I also hate that when I got it and unrolled it, there were clear indications it had never been cleaned before it was shipped or packaged. I’m not sure what that was that was on it it seems like some sort of adhesive or some thing it’s took a bit of work to get it off. In several spots however, the other issue I have with it is the fact that I have nervous, vacuuming it, because the firework design of the threading seems to easily come right out of the rug. I keep looking down seeing pieces of the design, just laying there even just from walking on it. I am afraid that after some time has passed a great deal of that threading that makes up the design will have come out and be missing. I am hoping they will stop coming a loose, but I doubt it. I am beginning to regret this purchase!

I love this brand of rugs. I have ordered several others. Always thicker than expected. Colors are exactly as shown. Quality is 100%. Very happy.

I purchased the rug in beige. It is absolutely gorgeous and even more striking in person than it is in the photo. I bought the same rug in blue-multi almost 10 years ago, and it has held up extremely well as it is thick and well-made. A minor issue is that the rug occasionally sheds, but a quick vacuuming takes care of this.

I love the look of this rug - it is perhaps a bit more textured in the sunbursts than I expected (they stick up between 1/2 inch to 1 inch above the surface of the rug) but it's thick and the colors are nice. Being wool, it sheds a lot. I am also finding that the sunbursts are made of unfinished lengths of a material that unravels every time I vacuum and I have resorted to trimming the resulting long strings with scissors. I am planning to move the rug from my living room to my bedroom in hopes that less traffic will mean less maintenance.

I was worried about this rug after reading some of the negative reviews about the starbursts falling out, but I decided that I would give it a try for the price. We've had it under our coffee table for over a year, it gets walked on almost every day, and we've only had a few of the pieces fall out - certainly not enough that the pattern is ruined by any means. It's a great looking rug, comfortable with cool texture, probably a little darker than it looks in the picture, but a really good value for the price. As long as you don't have kids or pets that are going to be pulling at the pattern, or some kind of hurricane suction vacuum cleaner, don't listen to the haters on here! I'm glad I didn't.

When the rug was unrolled, pieces of the sunburst decoration, went flying all over our room.A BIG mess.As well, it's very pretty rug in the picture, but not the same color as shown.It is blue, not green or aqua at all.In the picture it looks as if the 'New Zealand Wool' has a patina, it doesn't, it is very flat, without sheen.The starbursts are made from a hard ribbon, almost like a thin satin wrapped cardboard, which break off when walked on, so it cannot be used for the purpose for which it was intended, i.e., as a rug to be walked on.It has only been on the floor in an empty guest room for 3 days, and it is already losing integrity as a carpet.I have to say, this flaw could NOT possibly have gone unnoticed by the manufacturer, so I am NOT happy at having it passed off to us with the decorations already broken off, and continuing to do so.SAFAVEH, if I had wanted a fragile tapestry, I would have bought one, you should be ashamed at passing off this defective mistake to your customers.
