Yes- I actually bought something to massage my hair- silly you may say, but this thing feels so good. Initially bought this product because I was experiencing postpartum hair loss in mass amounts. Then I read that something so simple as massaging your scalp twice a day can help fix that! So I bought this nifty gadget. IT IS WAY BETTER THAN ANYTHING your hands can do! It feels like 4 people are massaging your head at the same time. The bristles are soft and firm. Almost sponge like. Just know that it feels VERY GOOD. Hair types- I have thick hair and it works wonders for me, my daughter (toddler age) has fine hair and she seems to love it too. Dandruff- if you have any dandruff, this thing will take it out. That can be good or bad. If you have dark hair and you use this before work, you will see flakes in your hair. I recommend using it before you shower so that all flakes can be washed away leaving your head/hair nice and clean. The handle is extremely easy to hold. I love the design. Easy to use and your hands won't get tired. Did it help with my hair re-growth? Possibly- I did this in combination with biotin and hair oil and I have a whole line of baby hair on my forehead. Even if this was not the sole reason for my hair growth, at least it feels good, and cleans my scalp super well.

I picked this up because my youngest had dandruff, and wanted to try something for massaging scalps first. I’ve had itchy scalp for years, but with straight hair, found thorough brushing was enough to keep flakes and itches at bay. I didn’t count on how much I would love this and use it. I like to wash my hair in the bath, and my hair is so thick and shoulder length that it’s hard to get it clean without a ton of shampoo. Enter this “brush.” It’s soft rubbery plastic, and the tongs are more like dull fangs - they’re the size of candy corn. I use a normal amount of shampoo and lather up my scalp. Then I massage my scalp with this brush, and it’s delightful and builds up a good lather. Then I use that lather on my longer hair, rinse, and use the brush to comb through my hair after I put conditioner on. Rinse again, comb through with the brush one last time, and put it on the shower shelf. It never needs cleaning because I of how far apart the tongs are. Everyone in my family now uses it because it feels so great on the scalp, and hair feels very clean and soft afterward. And yes, it instantly got rid of my son’s flaking scalp. His hair is so thick that it was hard for him to massage his scalp with his fingers, and face it, he’s a guy, so “massage” sounds silly to him. Using this brush, though, and seeing how it makes the lather thicker and it feels so good - well, that’s more than enough to get him on board. It is a silly thing. I would have never bought it even after seeing it on Buzzfeed, except that the reviews are great and it’s inexpensive. Even if I weren’t a bath person, even if my hair weren’t crazy thick, I’d get it just for the pleasure of a simple scalp massage. Especially now with Covid that I can’t really get that terrific scalp massage at my salon. I love it, and highly recommend to anyone, male or female.

I first discovered this shampoo massager when I saw it in an article and read a multitude of comments singing all sorts of praises of its various benefits, from flake reduction/elimination, to saving shampoo (especially for those with very long and/or particularly oily hair which often takes two rounds of shampoo per shower), to cleaner hair, to the overall pleasant sensations of a scalp massage. I decided that, for the price, I might as well give it a try because I just happen to be someone who has rather fine but very thick (as in high strand count) and very long (hip length) hair that becomes oily and flaky and lifeless within 24 hours of washing, no matter what I do (and yes, I have tried everything from co-washing to countless types of shampoos to virtually every natural and unnatural remedy under the sun to letting my hair "get used to" being washed less frequently -- spoiler alert: it never got used to it!). Due to both the length and the thickness of my hair, as well as my skin's propensity for producing OPEC-rivaling amounts of oil, the traditional method of working the shampoo in with the fingers and massaging the scalp with the fingertips and fingernails requires at least two rounds of shampoo and obscene amounts of it to sufficiently remove that greasy feeling, and it takes relentless scrubbing to reach the "core" of it all. I pretty much have to block out my entire evening just to wash my hair. And what for, just to "wash, rinse, repeat" the entire process in no more than 24 hours, lest I look like I dunked my head into a vat of old fryer grease. With the scalp massager, however, not only does just one round of shampoo do the trick, but the shampoo actually lathers better on the first round than it did on round two with using just my hands, and I can tell that my hair is getting significantly cleaner just by how much more it squeaks while I am rinsing it. Furthermore, the flaking is gone, my hair has much more shine and life to it than before, AND it still feels reasonably clean on the 24th hour post-wash, which is a drastic switch from the snowy oil slick that it once was. One final note: the bonus scalp massage that comes along with finally putting an end to all of my longtime hair hassles feels absolutely INCREDIBLE!

This is a great scalp massager! The silicone bristles are soft and comfortable and do an excellent job massaging my scalp. The handle is very sturdy and easy to hold. The whole massager is quite durable. I’ve had it for 6 years, and it still looks brand new and is no worse for the wear. It’s easy to wash and use. Because it is light weight, I can keep it hanging from a hook in my shower. The aqua color is fun and bright. I highly recommend this product and think it’s a great value for the money. It would make a great stock8ng stuffer!

Several years ago I bought a different scalp brush, it had very short bristles and it was made of a hard, very stiff plastic-like material. The bristles were so short that they didn't move at all and were too short to get through all of my hair and down to my scalp in some areas. The bristles have no give at all, don't move or flex, this makes it slightly painful to use, since I have a sensitive scalp and a few areas that are a bit sore to the touch, because of this, I didn't use the old brush very often. With so many choices for the newer silicone scalp brushes, I had a hard time choosing one, but I bought this one because of the reviews. So glad I did! The bristles are a great size to be able to work through the hair and long enough to get down to my scalp. The silicone bristles are just the right firmness to be able to cleanse my scalp thoroughly and massage without hurting me!! I look forward to using it in the shower now! I may get another one to use at night when I use an oil on my scalp and want to massage it in (so I can keep one in my room and one in the shower). I haven't noticed any issues with it so far. I'll update this review if anything changes but so far, I'm very satisfied with this item!!

OMG, this brush is GREAT. I have a lingering itch that even my hair stylist can’t locate when washing my hair. I purchased this item ONLY BECAUSE IT LOOKED WEIRD. I have quite a few scalp massagers & shampoo brushes. But NONE work like my new BFF yet weird looking friend here. The bristles are different and some are even rectangular shape BUT this is the BEST scalp brush that I have ever used. It literally takes care of the itch, massage, etc. I WILL be purchasing more just to have an extra on hand. Love love LOVE IT!

Grooves and crevices are a problem. Water can get inside and then you start getting mold. I like how soft the rubber is and how the size fits my hand. The handle is helpful. But, I threw it out when I realized it was a breeding ground for bacteria and mold. I’m going to look for one that’s one solid piece without places for water and bacteria to hide.

Though I have received black colored item, the purpose is solved. Make and functionality are upto the mark. The bristles are soft and sturdy. Only thing is when you can't deliver what you promised, then mention as "random color item will be sent". Otherwise it's good product.

I have very dry scalp and struggle with a flakiness and product build up. This item really helps to exfoliate my head and clean it thoroughly.

The silicone bristles are very soft, feels like a lovely scalp massage. Really helps to deep clean my hair, just be careful to not use circular motions as it can cause tangles. I just go side to side or up and down and move around the head whilst shampooing. Works great! Love the colour and the ergonomic grip, feels very comfortable to hold with grooves for your fingers and thumb.
