Good solid rail. Once assembled, easy to fit
After an elderly relative stumbled in our hall, I thought a rail might be safer. This is extremely solid, you could probably tether a horse to it once it’s installed, and I think it looks ok, kind of steampunk/retroish. The hardest part (for me) was assembling it, because it arrived in 2 smaller lengths with all the brackets separate. Screwing those bits together was HARD - I ended up using my clamps, crowbars, anything I could for leverage. Maybe I’m just weak. Anyway, once assembled, it’s rock solid, and it isn’t going anywhere, not with those 12 plugs and heavy duty screws supplied. There’s even an allen key supplied, which is very useful if the screw holes end up behind the rail. So to conclude, I’m happy with it. It’s fit for purpose, and it has a certain style. I’ve ordered another for the guest room.

Excellent product
Excellent quality and solid once installed. Take time with aligning the fixings as they need to be turned straight so they all match up before offering to the wall. A bit fiddly but once sorted excellent product

Solid and simple to fit
This is an excellent product which fulfils its purpose well. I installed it single handed, in under an hour (I was fortunate, I could screw the fixings directly into wood with no necessity to drill a wall and use rawlplugs). There are no instructions but it is blindingly obvious to work out, even without looking at a picture of one finished. I recommended this sturdy item.
