My family and I have used these for years for hotel stays. They block out light and noise, allowing us to each sleep listening to our own thing: white noise, podcasts, music, whatever. They are comfortable, too -- I'm a side sleeper and the speakers are flat enough to not bother me. I also appreciate that the mechanism can be removed so that the headband itself can be washed.

There are a lot of low-cost sleep headphones on the market, but I gravitated toward this one because it's one of the few where you can remove the inner electronics to wash the headband. The material is reminiscent of yoga pants, very soft and very stretchy and a better quality than I was expecting for the cost. Some reviews on other sleep headphones mentioned dye leaching into their pillows so I ordered the light grey just as a precaution and have not noticed any dye leaching. The sound quality and volume are mediocre for headphone standards, with a lot of treble and not much bass even when using an equalizer app. I have a beanie hat with built in headphones that's a few years old from a different seller, and a few cheap pairs of ear buds; the headphones on this sleep band are ten times better than those, however. So, sound quality is mediocre compared to other headphones, but extraordinary compared to other headphones at this price point, for this use. The volume on these is perfect. They don't get extremely loud and wouldn't be good to wear if you're looking to block out loud background noise (while mowing the lawn, a sleeping partner that sounds like someone is mowing the lawn, etc) but they are perfect for 'normal' sleep environment. I've used this during a thunderstorm and with a loud fan going and can still hear just fine. So far the battery life has exceeded my expectations. I've listened to a 1-3 hour long sleep meditation track every night since purchasing these, and it seems to take up maybe 10% of the battery for a 1-3 hour track followed by being on but not actively playing anything for 6-10 hours after that. I don't like to let the battery get too low on my electronics, so for me one full charge per week covers all my sleep needs. If I was listening to music for the entire night and the headphones were actively playing something for the entire time, that may be different, but I'm extremely grateful to not have to charge every single night. There is a little square on the forehead with play/pause and +/- controls that I thought would be uncomfortable, but I don't even feel it- even when sleeping on my stomach with my face mostly pressed into the pillow. There are small disks where the headphones are embedded in the headband that you can feel if you press into the material with your fingers, but sleeping on my side with all my weight pressed onto my ear I still can't feel the disks in the headband. These are EXTREMELY comfortable, much more than I was expecting. Every night I wake up and the headband is laying on the bed somewhere, likely slipped off from me tossing and turning in my sleep, but it has never been an issue. I use this to fall asleep and don't expect it to stay on while I'm asleep. The fit isn't too tight or too loose, I just thrash a lot during the night. Even if I accidentally roll on top of it in my sleep, I don't feel it and so far there's been no damage to the unit. Overall, for the price, I am truly astounded at the quality. I paid full price for this product, I was not asked to leave a review, I am writing this because I genuinely love these sleep headphones. They've exceeded my every expectation. If anything changes I'll update my review but for now I'm in love.

Helps me fall asleep while listening to my audiobook. Connects easily to phone. Does run out of battery charge quickly. Took some getting used to but them comfortable. Sound quality is fine.

I’ve been using this almost nightly for 2 weeks. It was easy to pair to my iPhone 14, a charge last a long time, and it’s comfortable- even for side sleeping. It’s nice and stretchy. Sound is very good for what it is and the price. The only minor annoyance is I can get too warm if sleep with it on for a few hours, but that’s easily solved when I pull it off and chuck it across the room at 4am! ;) The benefits outweigh my personal preference to sleep cool. A fantastic value!

I was searching for a product that would: 1. Allow me to listen to my phone while in bed, without disturbing Hubby. 2. Prevent ear bud loss. 3. Keep my hair out of my face. 4. Keep my ears warm. I found this product, read the reviews, and decided to give it a chance. I was not disappointed. One of the handy features, is that it comes partially charged out of the box -- enough for you to determine if it is working; it also flashes red/blue when it is time to recharge it. A single charge lasts surprisingly long -- for me, two (2) days. Surprisingly, the audio quality on this sleep band is very good! I'm a side sleeper, yet this did not irritate me, or put uncomfortable pressure on my ear. It did all the aforementioned criteria, and I am very happy with it. Days passed, and it was time to launder it. Removing and reinserting the electronic components was a bit challenging, but I managed it. Imagine my disappointment when I lost audio on the left side. So, back to Customer Service I go, and sent away for a replacement. The replacement process was painless, and I received the replacement it in a timely manner. After charging it, the second one is working well... so far. We will see what happens when its time to launder this sleep band as well. Till then, I would say it is well worth the purchase! Dear Reader, because this is meant as a sleep band, the audio level is adequate for a more quiet environment, without excessing background noise for it to compete with; it does not have superior noise cancelling features. If your bedmate snores loudly, you will hear it, as well as whatever you're listening to. I use it around the house in the early morning hours, when I don't wish to put my earbuds in, and am within range of my phone as I'm making meals in the kitchen -- or when in the living room; this sleep band is very convenient. I simply brush my hair, slip this on as a hair band, and do what I need to do, while the house is quiet. For those who are hard of hearing, and/or use external hearing aids, this may not work for you. I am very happy with my purchase; I will update when I launder this replacement band. Hopefully I will not lose audio in either side.

Surprisingly good sound quality is produced by the tiny speakers that are built inside the headband of the headphones. In spite of their small size, they are capable of producing audio that is both clear and immersive, which improves the quality of my listening experience. The positioning of the speakers has been thoughtfully planned to bring them into proper alignment with the ears. This alignment ensures that the music will reach the listener directly without being distorted or degraded in any way. I love that the volume levels may be changed with such ease since this enables me to personalize the music to the degree of ease that best suits my preferences.

I've only had it for a little over a month, and I really like it. Also, fortunately, I haven't had any of the problems that are mentioned in the low-rated reviews. Plus, I am really particular about speaker quality, and this are some really nice sounding speakers. And there's no need for them to get loud since most people use these when they're in bed or going to bed. However, one thing that I wished that they had done differently was to make the speakers have little cup shapes to go over your ears. But, the reason why I am only rating this 1 star and not recommending it is because I don't see how I can wash the headband and keep it clean. *Edit* After the "But" in the title, I can continue to say: "it's a Mess!" 😱 After my headband started to smell like funky hot sauce and chicken wings, 🍗 I figured out how to disassemble it and take the electronics out to wash it. But the control pad was sewn in, therefore, I had to pull the stitches out on one end, but now the control pad keeps slipping out. 😲 Also, it's really hard to reassemble and put the electronics back in the headband because you have to push the pieces in inch by inch. Plus, I accidentally reversed the right speaker and the left speaker, which made it so tight, I couldn't put it around my head anymore. Therefore, I had to do the arduous steps all over again. 😢 But there's got to be an easier way!!!! THEREFORE, WHAT THEY NEED IS A SOFT PLASTIC OR NYLON ZIPPER ON THE INSIDE OF THE HEADBAND THAT YOU CAN UNZIP AND TAKE OUT THE ELECTRONICS PARTS. ADDITIONALLY, THEY NEED ELASTIC SLOTS THAT THE SPEAKERS AND CONTROL PAD CAN EASILY FIT INTO. AND THEN SIMPLY ZIP IT BACK TOGETHER. 😕

This product worked well right out of the box. It lets me go to sleep while my wife watches TV! And, it is very comfortable for her to wear all night even with her sleeping apnea head attachment over top of these. Nothing but good things to say about this product.
