This kit is great for home or shop! Pretty much everything you need. Covers a wide range of common thread sizes and pitches with dies and taps. Many useful extras like easy outs. Quality is good and kit is complete. For the price; can’t beat it! If you need this kit, then you should probably get the Metric kit, too! I did!

This tap and die set is that of a professional grade. Highest praise to the product and it's durability. I put my tools to the test in a high stress environment 7 days a week and i use this set 4 days a week for the past few months the and it's never failed me. It was exactly as described with one minor exception, they undersold how practically indestructible thos set is when used correctly.

After light use it has performed well. Lots of sizes.

This is a great product. An amazing amount of tools for the money. Most tap and die sets provide dies for cleaning up threads which are essentially useless for cutting threads on raw stock. These cut new threads very well.

It works as it should, only problem when using to re tread it felt like it was going to brake. I was scared that it would break and get stuck. Looks similar to the gearwrench but same quality I don't know. The price is more than half of gearwrench .

Bought this to save the axle on a Toyota Solara. After using a thread chaser, the axle nut would still not go on, due to some thread damage I caused in hitting the axle with a dead blow (stupid… use an air hammer and punch). After some time and patience, the 22mm/1.50 die got the car back on the road. Threads were still good to torque the axle nut to 217 ft/lbs.

Good quality product just not enough of a tap range was force to buy individual taps later

Its a pretty uniqe set to get into large tap & die jobs @ a fair price. However the larger taps are not secured in the case & are full of dents, i dont have much confidence in them at this point but time will tell. Its just so easily preventable with a change in packaging or simply adding a slice of padding in the case to prevent movement. Also the very heavy set was simply placed loosely in a cardboard box with no padding or filler making the issue even worse. & again easily preventable
