Jelly Joker - gentle, hard-working cleanser, dissolves (water-soluble) makeup - all skin types including sensitive, 150ml

An absolute workhorse of a cleanser, recommended to me by my dermatologist, which I will repurchase until the end of time. If you have sensitive skin (or normal skin which is going through a patch of irritation) you really can't do better than this cleanser. It's unscented, ultra gentle, rinses clean without leaving a residue, and can handle a proper face of makeup. Texture wise it's a thick, slightly cloudy gel, which spreads easily and goes ever so slightly milky with water. And since it's so thick, it's great for travel: squirt a bit in a little pot without fear it's going to leak out everywhere. if, like me, you're a fan of iconic sensitive cleansers like the Curel Cleansing Gel, this will work for you, and is really exceptional value.

My skin: super sensitive, at the same time oily and eczema-prone and forever troubled with one condition or another. Let me tell you a tale. Years ago, a dermatologist recommended a popular non-foaming cleanser of another brand to me, in a small triangular packaging with a pump, and it was the best thing I ever discovered. Sadly, shortly after the manufacturer re-formulated the product to include niacinamide, and bye bye it went as it now irritated my skin. Throughout the years, I was looking for that feeling everywhere, in other products which promised the same, but each had a flaw, one didn't clean well enough, another had ingredients that irritated my skin, yet another had added fragrance or botanical extracts that again, caused eczema. I gave up on ever finding a non-foaming cleanser for my skin. Until I tried this beauty. Upon first application, there it was again. My skin, clean, soft, comfortable, not stripped. Like a water wash, only better. No longer I needed to choose between washing my face and accepting the irritation or living with the oil/dirty feeling. I was so happy I could have cried. I will repurchase this as long as the company makes it. Please do not change anything, do not add any additional 'beneficial' ingredients, it's bland and beautiful, just like some of us like it. My new best friend. Thank you. PS. I don't wear heavy makeup, but when I do wear some, I do use an oil cleanser before this one so can't comment on its ability to dissolve makeup, but it manages ok with SPF/mineral foundation and powders.

i had to write a review its so good! i use it as my second step after an oil cleanser and this product genuinely saved my skin. i have normal skin prone to closed comedones and was struggling with breakouts a lot due to using too harsh of ingredients as it turned out. this product is so gentle but cleans very well, calmed my skin a lot and really helped my self esteem. repurchasing for sure!

Geek and Gorgeous is a great brand, and I am glad to see it available on Amazon now. I have sensitive rosacea-prone skin and have to be careful with what I use. Anything that foams or is too stripping makes my skin burn. This soothing cleanser is very gentle and great for a morning cleanse. I do find that it struggles with removing SPF and eye make-up so I need to use an additional product, such as a balm cleanser first or a dedicated eye make-up remover, and as such, I don't tend to use it for my more thorough evening cleanse. I feel that the cleanser is well priced for what you get, although ultimately I now buy the Geek & Gorgeous Mighty Melt balm instead, as this is great at removing my make-up but just as gentle as Jelly Joker.

I wish I had found this sooner. It melts the make up in a gel type consistency. I was looking for a non greasy makeup remover and this is the answer to my wishes! I really like the Geek & Gorgeous brand. It has a solid reputation.

This cleanser is great for dry sensitive skin, even when my barrier was compromised, it still didn’t sting. I use this after using an oil cleanser as I’m not sure this alone is enough to fully take off my spf (and make up if you wear it). Such a great product for the price too.

Checks all my boxes: cheap, non-fragranced, non-stripping to my skin barrier, not causing my eyes to water and effective. The cleanser has a somewhat gel/jelly texture. It is not heavily fragranced. Since it contains chemicals there is obviously an incredibly slight smell, but you’d only really notice if you put it right up to your nose. It’s also hydrating. My skin feels so soft to the touch after cleansing, I’ve never had any other cleanser give me this effect. While washing my face, it doesn’t create a mess as well. Even though my eyes aren’t sensitive, some cleansers cause stinging to the eyes or force me to have my eyes closed while washing my face. I can honestly wash my face with my eyes open and my eyes feel completely fine the whole time. It lasts for a long time too even with daily use!

This is not a moisturising face gel . After using it i applied Purito Barirer Moisturiser and my skin is totally dry. Previously i hace uses Curel foaming sensitive cleanser for 2 years and felt was drying my skin but this stuffs another level

Il est très bien, nettoie en profondeur et n’abîme pas la peau . Je recommande, surtout si vous avez une peau sensible , mais ça marche aussi sur toutes types de peau.

Super fijn voor mijn gezicht. Ik heb een hele gevoelige huid en snel last van pukkels. Dit product maakt mijn gezicht erg zacht en egaal. Super blij mee!

Après des dizaines de nettoyants visages essayés soit inefficaces, soit,le plus souvent, beaucoup trop agressifs pour ma peau sèche, j'ai enfin trouvé mon graal. Utilisé 1 à 2 dois par jour depuis plusieurs semaines, l'efficacité est visible, et SURTOUT aucune sensation de brûlure/irritation/assèchement. La texture est très agréable: imaginez de l'aloé verra en plus dense et moins "gélatineux". Doux au toucher, facile à étaler de manière homogène. Ne mousse pas du tout. Rapport qualité/prix/volume excellent de mon point de vue.
