This bowie is fantastic! I love the feeling of the handle. The grip is a sorta TPU type rubber so, you'll get a solid grip but, it wont be perfect for everyone. I like weight and size of the blade. For edge sharpness, its OK before sharpening and honing the edge. The sawback isnt for practical uses. Its for show more than use. I like the look of it for a Guardsman size Astartes Combat Knife. The sheath is made of Rubber and Nylon. So, its not THE BEST but, it works. For better unsheathing, practice pulling out the blade and sliding it back in. Doing this practice works pretty well.

This big ole’ knife is an EXCEPTIONAL deal for the money! It is extremely sturdy and well made! The saw side is not very sharp but I won’t be using that side as I only got it to keep at my bedside for intruders(which I encourage😁).

Received the blade, it does appear to be full tang. The knife is impressive, especially for the money, and the sheath is also pretty impressive. The knife definitely needed sharpened out of the box, and once that happened, this thing would be a fantastic hunting or camping knife and companion. Fantastic price for this product. Can't speak to the durability, and I have a feeling that it won't keep an edge real well, but that can be remedied by running it through a knife sharpener a few times. I'm only giving 4 stars rather than 5 because it was supposed to come with 1 flint/firestarter and 1 sharpener. Instead, what I got was 2 sharpeners. When I contacted Amazon customer service about it, they wanted to do either a refund or a return and replacement. It wasn't worth it to me to send back a product and get another one when the Flint That was supposed to come with it was so cheap to begin with. That's way too much work for me when I already completed my part of the bargain - paying for the product. So, unfortunately, I'm leaving four stars rather than five. The only other negatives that I see might be that the strap on the sheath could get frayed or sliced by a sharpened knife when pulling it out or putting it back in, and you might want to run a file over the teeth on the back so that it would actually saw wood or cut bone. Overall, this is a fantastic deal, especially if their packing department would ensure that they are sending the correct stuff. Don't hesitate to buy this product. Maybe it would be worth it for you guys to issue a return for an extremely cheap flint. I'll just buy one at Walmart.

Nice, sturdy blade. Husband loves taking it fishing, hunting and hiking. Ordered another one for my adventuring son.
