Hair Mascara Root Touch-Up for Gray Hair | Precision Hairline Concealer for Brows & Beard (AUBURN)

Thank you, Greyfree... what a fabulous product! The auburn color matches my medium red (auburn) hair perfectly. I tried a similar product and it was flame orange. Not this one. Greyfree got the color just right. I feel like Auburn would work with "red" hair a couple shades lighter and darker too. Simply paint the product on to your gray hair with the mascara like wand. This works excellently for hair at your temples and along the side of my face. I actually use a spray product for the gray at my part, as it's a little easier and faster. That said, the spray was awful at covering the gray around my face. Greyfree does the trick perfectly. No running or smudging with me. I also use it on my brows after my make up look is done for the day. Highly recommended!

The auburn shade blends nicely with my red hair. It's easy to use and washes out, which is important if you use temporary or demipermanent hair color. It is stiff when dry, but that's no big deal. I sometimes follow the company's advice to blow-dry while brushing, and that works nicely to fluff the treated part and make it look more natural. I'll keep buying it on subscription.

First time using this product. The wand did tangle a bit in my hair as I have fine hair, but I followed the directions and touched up my root area. Have not yet washed it out, but pleased with the initial results to cover the little gray strands, and scalp that to help extend when I need to go to the salon again. See before and after pics.

This hair color is fantastic. It colors the grey perfectly. You can't even tell that you have used anything to hide the grey. You have got to try this product. It's so easy to use. It's just like using mascara. Anyone can cover their small amount of grey that might be showing up in a part or wherever. You really need to try out this product.

I would not use this if you have thick or curly hair, it would be better for thin hair or brows. Took longer to dry and came off on fabric more than other similar products I have used. The color goes on lighter but darkens as it dries and is a true auburn color.

It works as advertised

I have been wearing my hair a red auburn for about 20 years. However, the coloring around my hairline grows out in a matter of a few days. This hair coloring root touch up product matches my red auburn hair color! I am so thrilled! I have searched for years to find a root touch up product and have finally found it! It lasts for several days unless you wash it out. It is not at all damaging to my hair. It actually makes my hair soft around the edges. And it is very reasonably priced!

If your hair color is the color of a terra cotta flower pot you are in luck! I'm a natural redhead with 6 or less sporadic gray hairs. I thought this would do the trick it's too orange and does not stay on throughout the day.

Excellent product perfect for my hair colour.

Works really well for my ginger beard hair, and "I" liked it, but wife didn't. I compared pictures of myself 10 yrs ago and matched very well. On my head, a little much where the match has to be perfect, and it wasn't. Beard, gotée? yep, hair not so much

I bought this for my husband who was looking for something to touch up the grey that was starting to show in his beard. He now uses it all the time and loves the fact that it’s simple to use and isn’t messy

I bought this to use on my roots between colouring - the auburn colour is perfect, and it covered my light brown hair well (I don’t have any grey). The downside is that it’s incredibly messy to use. The wand sprays droplets when you remove it, and while it goes on easily with the wand, I had to hold my hair taught and the colour would get on my hands. Not a big deal to wash off, but I didn’t find it set well with heat and it would just come off on everything - hats, sheets, my hands, I even found it creeping down my forehead when I had it in close to my hairline. So I appreciate that it did its job, but I tend to only use it if I have an event for one day where I want to look good but can deal with the colour transfer issues short time. It is definitely not waterproof or transfer proof.

I wanted to give this product a try. It was easy to apply but left the hair feeling like there was a residue build-up of product. I would likely not purchase this again. As it turns out, I prefer the powder concealer.
