Easy to install and provides bright lighting

This is just a really well thought-out product that, for me, worked exactly as advertised. I love the way the motion detection works (despite complaints about that by others). It turns on or off only when I want it to, not every time I walk within 10 feet of it. Some people may want that, but if so, this is not the light for you. It is no-touch, just wave your hand close to it and light turns on/off. I love that. Concerning the brightness, that is really just a matter of preference, and what you need the light to do. I needed fairly bright light for doing tasks (preparing meals, washing dishes, etc.) on my counter top. I opted for the Cool White 4000k lights, which gives plenty of light for such things. If you want more of an accent type lighting, you might want to go with the warmer 2700k set. It is really just a matter of preference. The jumper cable system (in three different lengths) allows you to adapt to your under-cabinet situation and the running of the power cord from the outlet. I used some cable management runways to keep things looking neat where the power cable ran along the wall, and the provided clips keep the cables solidly in place under the cabinets. A "plug-in" light isn't the optimal solution, but for the price (about $60 for the lights and cable management stuff) and effort, this is an economical and practical option. Nice job by B&D, well worth the price. I highly recommend.

We just moved to a new house with no under-cabinet lighting and we really missed it, so after reading the MANY positive reviews I bought this 3-light kit from Black & Decker, which has made a world of difference in our kitchen! Extremely easy to install (this from a 70-yr-old not so handy anymore woman), multiple light levels that are simple to adjust, a light sensor that lets us wave a hand under the cabinet to turn them on or off, what can I say? This is perfect. And all for about $60. Thank you B&D! I will add, the sticking power of the adhesive is fierce, so be sure where you want to place everything before you start sticking them up! I had to move the light sensor and it took a knife to pry it off where I originally stuck it. Once installed, these aren't going to fall off the bottom of the cabinet!

Easy install and lights under counter area very well. Truly enjoy the no touch on/off with messy kitchen hands.

I was using some usb some rechargeable under the cabinet lites they would die when you really needed them the Pure Optics plugin and were very easy to install with no tools needed for installation.

Control switch sensor broken in. 6 months. Lights dont turn on

The light quality is good. The installation is not as simple as it sounds. It definitely requires basic carpentry skills.

Overall, a good product. I am using it as the lights under the kitchen cabinets. It was easy to install because of the glue pads. Motion detection could be more sensitive. To make it work you almost need to touch the sensor. Awesome feature that automatically shuts off the lights. My biggest issue is hissing and buzzing when using with dimmer. Both max and min brightness work without any noise. The max level is too bright and hurting my eyes. The min level is good for ambient light at night but not enough in the daylight, especially when cooking. Anything in-between, i.e. eight other brightness levels produce noticeable hissing and buzzing noise. It is not that loud and working TV will suppress it but when it is quiet in the house, the noise is very distinct and hurts my ears.
