Baby Hand & Footprint Kit Frame Keepsake & Clay New Mom Gift (Clean White)

I am very impressed with this picture frame. It was so easy to set up and very affordable too. The clay was easy to knead. It barely took 15min from start to finish. Let it dry for 24hrs and you are done. I was looking for a frame without glass so that it would be safer around kids and this one has an acrylic cover. This is the cutest picture frame for my baby's room. Highly recommend! They have the best customer service too. I bought this soon after my baby was born,took hand prints and postponed getting photos printed and completely forgot about it for about a year. I placed heavy books on it without realizing, causing the acrylic cover to form cracks. I contacted the baby mushroom customer service through email and they responded pretty quickly. I explained my issue, they were so sweet and offered me a free replacement of the acrylic cover. I got the photos printed and now I have a very beautiful memory on the wall. Love it!

As parents we love this it was so easy to do with our baby Boy and simple to figure out it was a little something fun to do with a small family we keep ours out we're everyone can see.

If you're shopping for a handprint keepsake kit, this is the one! I received my first Baby Mushroom kit as a gift when my first son was born, 3½ years ago, and it's still holding up beautifully with no cracks. I bought another kit recently for the newest member of our family. I had trouble getting a decent handprint from a tight-fisted newborn, so I reached out to the email address provided with the kit instructions. I received a response from the company founder, Liat, in under 10 minutes! She was beyond helpful! (Tip from Liat: For clay that's starting to dry, try adding just a few drops of vegetable oil while kneading it. Mix it in really well until it feels pliable again. Don't add too much at once.)

Relatively straightforward and easy to use even with a squirming infant. I was able to make both a hand and footprint without issue, and they look great. Nice and detailed with no cracks. Stamping the letters was more difficult. The clay kept sticking to the stamps. I would recommend having cornstarch or baby powder on hand - this should make the stamps work much better so you can get cleaner letters.

I bought this kit 3 years ago for my first daughter and couldn’t wait to buy it again for my next daughter! Had a slight issue with the second one and customer service went above and beyond my expectations!! Would recommend this kit to everyone. Cute gift idea! Notes- I originally started with just one of the three packs of clay not realizing that you needed to mix all three to fill the picture frame. I thought maybe it was so you could change the mold over time. I combined them all, kneaded all 5 mins because I’d read some didn’t harden, rolled it out and it took a couple tries for her not to grab the clay, but it came out cute! I’d make note that you don’t want to put anything too close to the edge because the border of the frame does cover it so I did the date twice but other than that it worked perfect. It hardened within a day and was ready to go.

I have bought this product for my three kids after they are born. It works best to line up the words with the stamp. Otherwise the stamps will cause the clay to cave unless another stamp is there to keep the form.

So it was kindve hard to flatten the clay into the little place for it, then it was terrible pushing the baby’s hand and foot into the clay against his will. He hated it. The first time I pushed his hand in I didn’t push it in hard enough and you could barely see it and he was screaming bloody murder. I had to fix the clay and try again, and he was losing it. I had to straighten his fingers and push on them pretty hard. His foot was much easier to do but I didn’t push on each toe when we did it so it looks like he only has four toes in his footprint.. lol soooo make sure you push on each toe. Otherwise I love it and I’m so glad to have it as a keepsake. Tiny baby hand and footprint. So freakin cute

Gave as a present to new parents and once they opened it, it has already been used by someone else and even had a footprint inside. Really disappointed. Would give 0 stars if we could
