Picture included so you can see what this review is for. Most reviews are for different waffle makers. You can see reviewers put pictures of different models. And the reviews will say, it's not a belgium, it's not one inch, it's two inch, it's thin, etc. Cause it's not this model. The amazon page says 4 minutes on each side. The instructions that come with it say 2 minutes. It's actually 4 or more minutes each side. The waffles are 1 inch, up to 1 and 1/8 inch thick. It's some kind of teflon coating and the instructions say to spray with oil. Some reviews misunderstood this. Waffles are 4 and 1/2 inch wide. There are no recipes in the instructions, the webpage says there are a few. They were likely removed when some folks complained about them. The unique part of this waffle maker is that the nubs are relatively shallow. This makes it better for doing a sandwich or bagel with cheeze, or adding fruit, as it allows more room in the middle. The metal cooking parts are not removable and nowhere does Amazon say they are. There is no temperature control.

I can't believe that this actually got all the good reviews it did. Apparently many people do not know what a waffle is. This is NOT a Belgian waffle maker. This is not a waffle maker at all. It is a glorified pancake maker. There are not big waffle pockets as a Belgian waffle should have, and as shown in the images. It does not make crispy waffles like waffles should be. It makes thick pancakes with waffle-ish imprints. It also is cheap plastic and takes a really long time to cook the "pancakes" as the heated surface does not get very hot. Completely bummed. Ordered a waffle maker; received a [slow] pancake maker.

I was looking for crunchy Belgian waffles. This made fluffy cake-like waffles. With strawberries and whipped cream it was a nice strawberry shortcake. Divots are not deep enough if you want crunchy. Also, don’t use the light as a timer. This waffle was 4 minutes on one side then flipped to cook another 4 minutes. When I used the light for the first try it wasn’t fully cooked. I will be keeping it, but will probably buy a different one too.

Okay, the truth is maybe I returned this due to user error..meaning maybe I just don't know how to lake good waffles! But for me, I couldn't get it right.. when I filled to make them thick, they didn't cook evenly or all the way through. If I tried to use less batter, they didn't turn out at all. I am sure that with patience or the right cook, this appliance would be wonderful. Since I didn't have the right touch or flare for this, I returned it.. and gave up on making waffles..for now!! :)

This little things works awesome. I should have bought a big one. If you are having waffles with someone you have to wait one at a time with this one. However if alone its perfect and its deep dish style.

Great item if you want to just fix a waffle for yourself, easy to use and clean up is quick.

Si funciona pero tarda mucho tiempo en estar los waffles unos 10 min cada uno y si lo quieres dorado 15 min creo que podrías encontrar otra opción

No pega bien la masa, se separa a la mitad, pese a dejar el tiempo requerido e incluso si se deja igual, siguen separándose a la mitad

Kann ihn leider nicht benutzen, da kein Stecker drann ist der geeignet ist. Muss mir jetzt erst einen kaufen um ihn zu testen. Schade wird bei den Bildern auch nicht mit angezeigt. 😒
