Versatile!
I have a paddle board that this was purchased for and it is perfect. I also like that I can use this on our kayak or any other water toy that a strap like this can be used for. The nylon is sturdy and well constructed. I don't foresee this breaking during normal use.

Great product at a good price
I was surprised at the high quality of this product. I didn't expect much at this price and am very pleased. The instructions are poor and don't show how the most important parts are assembled, but its worth the frustration of figuring it out. The steel clamping plate sits on thick rubber washers and that is not shown clearly. Once assembled(only takes a few minutes) you have a product that oozes quality in the hardware and design. Since the hand knobs can only be made finger-tight, I recommend adding lock washers to keep them from vibrating loose. The aluminum looks good and won't rust. The steel parts are covered in rubber to prevent rust and chafing. I'm happy.

Immense value for immense adventures
Bought these kayak racks intending for (2) 11.5ft perception outlaws on top of a Hyundai Kona. This is the second smallest SUV in the lineup and the kayaks are 77lb each. As in the photos, both are oriented the same way to fit. The Ikuram rack product has proven to be a "solid" choice. I carefully choose to apply ratcheting straps as the kayaks are roto molded. I can move the foam tubing on the racks to positions that benefit this oddly shaped and oversized kayak. I can select different positions and stow the racks down when not in use. They are a clean look in my opinion. I think the largest opportunity for improvement in this product is the plates that grab the underside of my roof bars. The universal design leaves me checking the racks for tightness every few miles, but no issue has occured yet. The use of aluminum is a weather-resistant design choice. Use of front and back straps would be a basic requirement for kayaks this large, don't skip them. This was not a paid review. I don't drive over 65mph with these roof racks out of preference, and I am observant of wind conditions. Your mileage may vary
