Has the company fixed the jar lid issue since early January 2021? By that I mean does the product arrive in a sealed jar?

I ordered a jar July 1st, and my jar was not sealed. I got a refund. It felt unsafe to eat. I wanted to order more. I was really excited about the product, but I will not eat food that comes unsealed. I hope the issue is addressed in the future. I WANT to purchase and use this product... Also, the oil had leaked in the box, but that's because it wasn't sealed.

Thanks for reaching out! We are not Kosher certified, but we are working on that this year. We will reach out once that is complete, but we're not entirely sure on the timeline. If at all helpful, we are vegan and we are certified Halal. We know these aren't the same, but some customers have been satisfied with these alternatives in the mean time. Does this item have any Chinese 5 Spice flavoring to it or anything sweet like that?

I do detect 5 spice. I would say there is some sweetness but but very little.
