Accepted Answer

Hi, thank you for your question. Dalstrong knives and culinary tools are crafted from a variety of premier materials which we carefully source globally. For example, our Shogun and Phantom Series are handcrafted of Japanese steel, our Omega Series from American steel, and our Gladiator Series from German ThyssenKrupp steel. Dalstrong strives to exceed customer expectations in quality and craftsmanship and takes great pride in every aspect of knife design and development.

All of our knives and products are painstakingly assembled by expert bladesmiths in a state of the art facility within YangJiang, China; a city renowned for knife crafting for nearly 1500 years. Expert knifemakers trained in traditional knife craft spend anywhere from 30-60 days on each knife, painstakingly hand-polishing and hand-finishing the blades and handles under strict guidelines using the 3-step Honbazuke method. This is married with high-tech processes such as Cryo-tempering which improves the steel’s crystalline structure (making them stronger). Our Chinese factory proudly stands head and shoulders above all others in YangJiang, as our artisans and lead foreman specifically are on a personal mission to prove to the world Chinese quality can be world-class.

Dalstrong has always maintained the relentless mission to create the most innovative, beautiful and highly functional quality tools that will shock with their quality and delight with their design. We are so confident in the quality and craftsmanship of our knives that we offer an industry record-length 120-day full money-back guarantee (including the shipping) and a limited lifetime warranty.

If you have further questions or concerns, please reach out to our team of customer service on our official website. Thank you!
