I got the 4 footer which came in four links. The bolts that hold the rail are 3” so it has to attach to something thick. The directions has diagrams that are so small its hard to read but I figured it out. The doors overlap and the rubbed together even tho they were under the limit of 1” thick. so i put felt on the back of one of them to prevent scraping.

Customer want two doors and barn door hardware so these were the prefect solution!

It is not a single rail as advertised. I purchased the 5 ft bypass barn door kit. The segments are 12 inches. My wall construction (and probably all of U.S.) have 16 inches center -center wall studs. So these 12 inches segments cannot be nailed to studs. It was $30 more expensive than other brands with segmented rails. I thought the added cost was because I was buying a single rail. NO single 60 inch rail - rails are segments of 12 inches.

Looks okay, not what I expected.

Needed to create a closure for under kitchen sink area to keep dogs from getting to trash and recycling. Easy to install. I just used plywood for the doors and stained to match cabinets,. I also added side handles to raise in drawing closed. I didn't use floor guides as my flor is tile but it works and I like being able to tilt the bottom out a bit to access because the width of the doors restricts access to the center of the space.
