GQ GMC-300E Geiger Counter Nuclear Radiation Detector Data Recorder Beta Gamma X-ray

I love the sturdy build quality, rechargeable battery, and included diagram. I found the Geiger Counter to be easy to operate. I used it during my radioactive iodine treatment for thyroid cancer. I used the data to make a graph of how radioactive I was over time. I loved the price & quality compared to other Geiger Counters. The data I got was in line with my expectations give my dose of RAI (I-131), so I felt it was accurate enough for my nerdy purposes.While I don't recommend thyroid cancer, I do recommend this Geiger counter!

I wanted this mainly to determine if I or family have rocks/pottery/glass that might be a gamma/Beta radiation source. So, this fit the bill as it was quite inexpensive and had the accuracy that I needed.To test, I would place the unit where the sensor is located (bottom of the unit) on top of an ionization based smoke detector. The CPM would rise to about 55 CPM versus a background radiation count of 10 CPM.Good to have around to determine if there is any ionizing radiation is being emitted by objects around your home.

Prodotto base per uso casalingo ma fa bene il suo lavoro. Per il software vi conviene usare u open surce python fatto molto bene che trovate su github
