The Trial (XIII)

Finally, the whole XIII series is being publishing in English (and in the US). Cinebooks has taken on the task of printing this series, with a new volume every 3-4 months. And they are coming to the US a little later after being published in the UK. At this time, 12 volumes are out.This volume continues the storyline from v11.This volume also marks a big turning point in the series. With this volume, the storyline regarding the "Conspiracy of the XX", started in the first album, comes to the close with the public reveal of the leader of the conspiracy, I himself. The dreaded Mongoose gets his just deserts as well.But things don't end will for XIII at the end, as he is in the hands of a long-time enemy, AND a new character is introduced in this volume who has a tie in with XIII's past that will prove troublesome in future volumes.I look forward to the next volumes as the story of XIII continues, as it moves past the Conspiracy to new areas that were opened up from what we learned in the previous 2 volumes.

BD classique en version souple anglophone petit formatlivret anglophone broché à couverture cartonnée souple moyen format récent (2012/1997) traduction du 12ème épisode de la série XIII "le jugement" de Vance et Van Hamme; ce douzième épisode d'une longue série centrée autour de ce personnage énigmatique créé par Vance et Van Hamme; dans cet opus, notre héros et ses amis Jones aident le général Carrington et le colonel Amos à organiser le "procès" de n° 1 mais celui-ci ne finira pas comme prévu.....; cet épisode accumule les invraisemblances mais on a tellement envie d'y croire; de la BD de haute qualité scénaristique et iconographique à acheter sans réserve mais avec un bémol sérieux pour cette version anglophone Cinebook petit format difficile à lire et fragile; il semble qu'il n'existe pas de version cartonnée grand format comme en français et cela est bien dommage!merci de cliquer ci-dessous si ce commentaire vous a paru utile
