We burn wood half the year with two stoves and used gloves constantly. Bought these to replace our old ones. I like them because they're not bulky and stiff like my other ones. Definitely protects your hands and forearm from heat and accidental burns. Will buy again when needed but they seem to last a long time.

These are heavy and sturdy. I've handled a hot grate from my charcoal grill and felt no heat at all. I was impressed. They may be made for welding, but they are versatile and good protection.

Great for removing thorny brush! Thorns up to 1 inch long were no problem. The gloves protected my hands and forearms without so much as a tiny penetration. Today was only my first use, so I don’t know how durable these will prove to be, thus the reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5. The gloves are thick so not easy to pick up small or thin objects. No problem using pruning shears!

Bought these for cooking and they deliver exactly what I needed: solid heat protection while still allowing real finger mobility. That combination is harder to find than you'd think. Sizing worked out great for me. I'm average build but have larger hands, and the L fit perfectly. Good reference point if you're on the edge. Quality looks and feels solid, and while looks aren't really a priority for this kind of glove, they do look nice too. Win-win. Find them to be an excellent value, they are easy to put and remove and have proven trustful. Highly recommend for anyone needing reliable heat protection that doesn't make you feel like you're wearing oven mitts.

These are perfect for reaching into a 500 drgree oven to remove cast iron dutch ovens for sourdough bread. Long enough to cover my entire forearm. They are a little stiff, but very workable.
