I haven’t noticed irritation or skin reactions, which is the most important part.The large bottle lasts a long time (77 loads), and the liquid pours easily without too much mess. One thing to keep in mind is that for very heavy stains, you may still need a pre-treatment, but that’s true for most gentle detergents.Overall, it’s a reliable, skin-friendly detergent that balances mildness with cleaning power. This version of detergent seems more effective than the Free and Clear Plus version Costco sells at a much lower price. Because this version is so expensive, I only use it for the dirtiest of loads, but it works great. It leaves the laundry clean, no smell, and softer. If ALL lowered the price, I would switch over entirely. Why have so many versions of detergent that have varying degrees of effectiveness? I tried Oxi powder added to laundry and it ruined clothes by stripping them of their dye, but this detergent doesn’t do that.
