Our family game of the year hands down
So much fun. This game has us in stitches every time. Pure chaos. It is so much harder to guess the Chameleon than you would think because you start to suspect everyone. Highly recommend. Quick and easy to learn. Kids LOVE it. The cards are good for all ages, although some words need to be explained before the round. Quick, hilarious, fun game.

Family Fun
If you are looking for some family fun and entertainment, this game is for you. It is easy for kids to get the hang of how to play and is really a great time. I have a family of six, ages 13 to 18, and they enjoy this game. I have also had my nieces and nephews, ages 6 to 12, and they enjoy it as well.

Just get it. Seriously.
I needed an easy, quick game that I could play with my middle and high school youth groups on retreats and whatnot. I looked through a million games, including this one, but just couldn't find any I liked. Then, at Christmas, my brother's girlfriend brought it over. We played a single round and I was sold. I knew the middle schoolers would love it. We continued to play for a solid hour and a half. Most of us are around college age, but we also had my parents and my younger brother, who's in high school. Finding a game that the elder siblings like is not very hard. Finding a game that the elder siblings can play with parents is a little more difficult. Finding a game that the elder siblings, parents, and younger siblings can play is hard. Finding a game that all of the aforementioned family members truly enjoy is impossible-- until we found Chameleon. So I purchased it. I brought it to an adult game night that I host, figuring we may do a round or two. These game nights are about four hours long. We played this for three of those four hours. As it turns out, middle schoolers are the WORST to play this game with. They don't really understand how to be specific without giving the answer away, they're terrible at guessing who the Chameleon is, they don't even recognize 98% of the words on the cards, they get frustrated when they are the Chameleon, and they get frustrated when they're NOT the Chameleon. And yet, on our retreat, they asked for it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. They preferred to play this game over their previous favorites. They spent so long playing this goofy game. God bless whomever invented this game. You nailed it.

Easy directions and fun game
This is a fun game, but definitely takes time to get the hang of it so you don't accidentally give away too many clues. Overall easy to learn, simple and clear directions, I recommend this game for kids and adults alike!

fun with lots of people
Every year for Christmas we buy a new game. Some years they are good, some years they are not. This year we got Chameleon. The idea behind the game is that everyone learns a "secret" word and then you go around and each person has to say one word, that will convince others they also know the word and are not the Chameleon. Over all it is a lot of fun. We tried it with 4 people first, and that was OK, but not great. Then we played with 8, and that was more fun. A few things we learned. If you are the chameleon and must give your word first (we just went around the circle, new dealer and new person starting each round) it was very difficult to not get caught. Each card does have a topic, so you can see the words (if you are the chameleon, you get get to see all the words, just don't know which one it is). So you find yourself trying to hit the most words with whatever you are going to say. House you might say chair, and hope that it is not a hallway or garage. But being first and the chameleon was almost impossible to pull off. We also found several cards we tossed back in the box. People, places, things we knew nothing about. There were a few that we allowed a re-roll on, if we knew most of the things, but one or more didn't know what was rolled. Ages playing were 14-84, so certainly different generations knew different things, might work better with people close to the same age. Replay value is probably OK. There are a lot of words, so until you start hitting the same words with the same groups of people, it should be OK. We played about 2 hours, used a couple of the cards twice, but each time had different words. There are also a couple blank cards for you to make up your own, something like your relatives might be fun), and you could even just use paper and make up additional ones pretty easily, just have to come up with a topic and the words. So it is not the best game we have ever gotten, but it is a good solid 4 stars. Someway to avoid making the chameleon go first and having words that everyone knows what they are, would make it 5 stars.

One of my all-time favorites
One of my all-time favorite games to play with my friends. Easy to learn and play. Rounds are pretty quick (5-10 minutes, depending on how much your friends/family like to argue). Recommended for ages 12+. My family doesn't like it; they prefer more luck-based and strategy games. But if you enjoy social deduction games, this is a great group game. You can play a lot of people with it.

Fun for the whole family
This game is so so fun. Easy to play. Our family is loving playing this since we got it. We have been playing with 4 of us, mom, dad, 14.5 yr old and 11.5 yr old. Look up a you tube video on how to play if you need to so maybe the rest of my review make better sense. Some of the cards like “authors” my kids have a harder time with.. for example they don’t know who Jane Austen is.. or most of the others on that card, maybe 3 of them, but most of the cards have plenty of things they do know. One of the cards subjects is tv shows and sex and the city is listed and my 14 yr old thought it very inappropriate- (it made me laugh) he doesn’t know what the show is or about, so we just took that card out LOL. I bought this game bc my 14 yr old asked me too. He had heard it was a lot of fun. And now I can’t wait to take it to our next grown up game night with friends!!! It would be more fun with more people, but is still fun with 4 of us. The only problem I think is with more people you’d have to have more room which would mean sitting further away from the subject card and the card is kinda small, like 4x6 ish. I would recommend to anyone who like fun games, make you laugh, easy to understand. I wish it came with more cards. Probably there is an expansion pack but I haven’t looked yet

CHAMELEON PARTY BOARD GAME
This is quite an engaging game especially when played with more than 2 members. But l do feel that it is slightly overpriced.
