Dynasty Hardware 4" x 4" Mortise Spring Hinge with 5/8" Radius Corners, Satin Nickel - Pack of 2 Hinges

I have these on a couple of my doors now. I went with 3 on each, but I likely could have gotten away with the pair as they close very strongly. That, of course, is adjustable. I am an overkill kind of guy. These have no trouble making sure the doors close all the way for my Yale Locks to lock them. We're in Florida so the humidity causes the frames to swell. Not having a visible closer was the only way to get it past the wife. I was just tired of having the doors left open so many times letting the mosquitos in or the dog out.. They feel really sturdy, well designed and I hope they'll not rust anytime soon. The weather is tough here. If they do I'll post photos when that happens..

The media could not be loaded.  This Hing is too simple to install on the door, I put it on my outside garage door as u can see in the video attached. It’s very smooth, and does its job, as u see in the video, I put three hinges on that door, and I adjusted it till 5 holes not 4, if u put the pin in the hole # 4, u won’t get that force of closure u saw in the video. So u need to put the pin in the hole # 5. Price wise, I gave it 2 stars as it is so expensive for $34. Otherwise I am happy with it, it’s only 2 weeks of use, and I will update of any new situation.

Seems pricey for what it is, but it does what's required. Install was straight forward and worked the same as some other spring hinges I've installed from other manufacturer's. I used both hinges on a single exterior door and it self closes very effectively.

Had two loud spring hinges on my garage door. The top one was especially loud and sounded like a hyena in heat. Its scream could be heard throughout the entire house each time the door was opened. Every replacement hinge I could find at local hardware stores had a different hole pattern for the screws, so I had to order these on Amazon instead.At $20 per hinge, they're not the cheapest, but it was oh so worth it. Now my garage door is dead silent.

This works well on the door from the garage. Make sure you measure your hinge before ordering.
