Better than a stool!!
I’m a short person at about 5 foot nothing. For my entire life, I’ve always had my feet dangle from toilets. I’m a grown a$$ woman and my feet swing in the breeze when I’m on the toilet! If I lived alone, I’d probably buy standard short toilets. However, I’m married to a tall person so we have comfort height toilets, that way my husband can poop without his knees touching his chin. We had been using generic plastic step stools in the bathroom for myself and our kids, but the plastic is getting worn and we need replacements.I figured we could try a Squatty Potty and this is what I’ve discovered:*The primary downside of a regular stool is that you can’t push it fully out of the way. If you have a tiny half bath, a small stool can take up most or all of the available foot space. Since the Squatty Potty (SP) has a bowl shaped cutout it can be pushed flush and frees up foot space in front of the toilet. My husband reports that it’s nice not having to straddle a stool when attempting to pee in the middle of the night.*Most stools are not comfortably wide or high enough when you’re sitting fully back on the toilet seat (especially with elongated bowl shapes). My husband says I’m in the “Waiting For The Bus” pooping position, just sitting on a bench waiting for the downtown bus. The Squatty Potty is interesting because you place your feet much wider than you would on a regular stool... almost fully on either side of the bowl rather than in front. It’s also a few inches higher than a regular stool. When I put my feet on the SP I felt like a gargoyle perched on the edge of a cathedral. Therefore, my husband and I have deemed this position the “Gargoyle Squat.”Frankly, it’s way easier to poop in the Gargoyle Squat. You’re in and out in 10 minutes no joke, start-to-finish. And somehow I barely need to wipe now? Our youngest calls those Magic Clean Poops. You know you went, but there’s nothing to clean up. I found the 7” height to be most comfortable, while the 9” works well for small kids.**As an aside, my husband & I poop in front of each other (but not always). I have physical health issues and occasionally need his help in the bathroom. We’ve been together a long time and do not easily embarrass. Lol.

Simple Yet Effective
As someone with chronic constipation, I was skeptical about the Squatty Potty—but it truly works! Since using it, I spend less time on the toilet and feel much more relief throughout the day. There are a few tips and considerations to keep in mind. For better comfort and ease, I recommend completely removing all clothing from your lower body before sitting down, as this allows you to position your feet on the stool more naturally. Additionally, be cautious not to put too much weight on the high adaptor, as it may collapse slightly onto the base. I am a muscular-heavy guy and I’ve also found it best to seat myself on the toilet first before placing my feet on the stool for better stability and comfort.Despite these minor drawbacks, the Squatty Potty remains a fantastic product for the price. If you're hesitant, it's definitely worth a try!

Best Potty Appliance
Just received it today and put it in my bathroom and my kids find it easier with this in the bathroom now to go potty with. I decided to upgrade from the regular 7 inch squatty potty to the 2.0 version so it came with the extender to make it 9 inches and it came with both. I read that some people say they don’t get the bottom but mine came sealed in a bag and it had the top and the extender. I saw other people say that they couldn’t get their bottom extender part out from underneath the squatty potty but if you look in the very middle of it underneath, you’ll see that it has little latches if you wanna call it that that lock the extender into place so that it won’t fall out. To get it out, you have to push both sides of the middle of the extender in and then just left top and it slides right out. Overall, I am very happy and my kids are happy and excited so I will chalk this up to a 10 out of 10 win.

Stable
I was a little questionable on how this thing would work but it does what it's supposed to. I had no problem separating the two sections. You don't want to stand on it but it will definitely support your feet after your seated.

This was the best recommendation I have ever received. No exaggeration….I’ve had trouble with constipation for almost 6 years and I’ve been from E.R to countless hospital visits. The first day I used it with ease🙌🏾🤗❤️I’ll never not use it.
