Great tasting product. Used on pork roast and thick chops. Kids did not eat chops until I used them this product. Brushed on while grilling or baking.

Excellent flavor. I have all the ingredients to make my own, but this is EASY and consistent. I marinade pork tenderloin or chicken thighs overnight, then in the air fryer 10 min, turn over, 10 min, then baste with honey and 5 more minutes. Soooo good!

I've been making steam pork buns a lot lately and decided to make charsiu pork buns. I didn't want to make the marinade from scratch as I wanted to save time, so I bought this. The consistency is like honey. Very thick and sticky. I added a little bit of water to make it easier to marinade the pork. After bbqing the pork, it came out looking and tasting delicious. I used the leftover marinade to make the glazed for the pork bun fillings. It was a little too sweet for my liking and wanted a savory taste to it, so I added more salt.. but I mistakenly mistaken the sugar for salt. 🤣 I was wandering why I couldn't taste the salt and it just kept getting sweeter. Then I realized it was sugar and not salt. 😅🤣 it still turned out great, just a little too sweet. If I didn't add the sugar, the glaze itself is perfect. Tastes good but I feel like it could be better. I just tried the NOH powder brand and this is definitely better than the NOH one. I do feel that the taste is lacking something though. All you can taste is sweet. It tastes a bit weird, that's why I tried adding salt to see if I can mask it or something 😅 Other than that, I think it still tastes good. I also feel that the price is ridiculously high for a small jar. I can buy this at the asian store for a couple dollars but the closest asian store is two hours away. Although, I might try this again in the future.

The product is pretty good, and I'm glad you can buy it on Amazon in a pinch. However, buying on Amazon is about $5 overpriced relative to other retailers.

Do you also have an unhealthy obsession with the red BBQ sauce at Chinese restaurants and don't want to spend $15 for 3 ribs when you know making them at home is an option? Yeah you do. This is also what they marinate pork chops in to thin slice them for your fried rice. You're welcome.

It arrived very quickly and was just what I needed. But I have now found a new place to get it and it is at least 80% cheaper so I will not be ordering it again.
