This is a light oil with a fairly strong fragrance. It’s like giving yourself a mini essential oil break when applying this to the face. Moisturizes well, but not heavy. I dab a bit on my wrist for a perfume. The fragrance dissipates with time, so not overwhelming.

Doesnt make yoru skin oily. Oil moisturizes differently than lotion. Doesnt mean this replaces lotion. You neeed this or you skin will get dry ,stuck in your pores and now you have blackheads or pimples.

I bought this a week ago and I'm absolutely in love! I'm 54 and take pretty good care of my skin. I always remove makeup before bed, moisturize, use Vit C, low levels of retinal, occassional facials etc . . . With the recent cold weather snap the humidity levels at work and at home have been consistently in the low 20's and I was honestly getting somewhat depressed with the appearance of my skin. I felt like I had aged 10 years in the past few months. What the heck????? I started throwing every product I had in my arsenal to add back some moisture including another brand of facial oil with no effect. I was looking at some laser options to try to add back some life to my face. While researching, I stumbled across a link for Clarins facial treatment oils and decided to give this one a try. Wow!!!! what a difference! within a week, my fine lines are improved and my skin looks fresher and plumper. I've seen many comments on the smell of this oil but I actually like it. It is somewhat strong at first, but is nice and 'herbally' and very fresh. The scent fades quickly though it does not totally disappear - which I like. My husband comments that he also likes the smeIl of it, and I find it lingers slightly on my bed linens which is an added bonus!!! If you are aging and find that your skin is dry, and lack-luster - I recommend giving this one a try. I will definitely try other Clarins products in the future!

Best face oil on the market and smells wonderful. I used to travel internationally on business over 100,000 miles annually. I always used this and still use it today for long plane rides and whenever I need deep moisture after laser and skin treatments.

Love this oil and love this brand. Leaves my face smelling like some old man cologne looool but I love It and my face looks phenomenal. And it goes a long way z

This skin oil has a nice texture and my skin stayed hydrated overnight. However, the patchouli smell is so unpleasant for me that I will not use this on a regular basis. For me with a sensitive nose this smells like pine needles in a stagnant pond. Your experience may vary! Note I use other Clarins products and have not had this issue before.

Timeless. My forever goes to face massage oil

I use this directly after I shower and before bed it definitely sinks in your skin and gives you a glow and fresh feeling after it dries I had my moisturizer has a nice smell too.
