A nice fill valve, helps keep toilet tank clean as well.
a nice toilet valve. I love the feature that keeps the bottom of the tank clean. It was easy to install, did not leak, and is still working great.

A True Money Saver!
An easy to install, quality made product that will save most users money through a lower water bill. To check your need for this unit: 1. Pour clean water into your toilet bowl to establish the level needed for a water seal in the base of the bowl. Make a pencil mark at this point. 2. Carefully remove the tank cover and observe the small tubing that is going into the larger over flow tube. 3. Flush the toilet and notice when the water level in the bowl reaches the point where you made the mark. All water flowing "into the bowl" after this point is wasted down the drain. You must observe the slight trickle in the bowl, and not confuse the water flow that is filling the main tank. 4. Now imagine if you had a valve on this small tube that you could adjust the flow, and only allow the proper amount of water needed to establish a seal. That's exactly what the MJSI HC660 does. The fully adjustable valve allows you to adjust the amount of water that goes through the small tubing. If you add the Hydro Clean Tube feature, it also keeps your tank clean on the inside. A very worthwhile product and is fully adjustable as far as water level in the tank goes and allows you to close off the water supply by the float lever, rather than the external valve, that usually starts leaking after being used. I have purchased and installed three of these units in my home and am totally satisfied with their performance and quality. Highly recommended. R. E. W. R. E. W.

Reliable Fix for a Leaky or Slow Filling Toilet
Reliable Fix for a Leaky or Slow Filling Toilet I installed the Danco HC660 toilet fill valve repair kit in one of my older toilets that had been taking forever to refill and occasionally kept running. The kit comes with the fill valve, float adjustment, and a refill tube, basically everything you need in one package. Installation was pretty straightforward—shut off the water, drain the tank, swap out the old valve, and adjust the height. The instructions were clear, and I appreciated that the design fits most standard toilets. Once installed, the toilet filled faster and more quietly than before. The height adjustment on the float is easy to fine-tune, so you can set the water level exactly where you want it. That said, the plastic construction feels a bit lightweight, so I wouldn’t expect it to last forever. I also noticed the locking nut at the bottom needs to be tightened carefully—over-tighten and you risk cracking it, too loose and you’ll have a small leak. Bottom line: This is a solid, affordable option to bring an old toilet back to life without calling a plumber. Just handle the plastic fittings with some care, and you’ll likely get a reliable fix for a few more years out of your toilet.

Use this valve
I broke my toilet fill valve trying to figure out why it wasn't feeling very fast so I ordered this and it was extremely easy to install, a very good price, and so far it has been far better than the old one. This fill valve seems to be very durable and is very easy to fit in the tank. After getting it completely situated and following the instructions The overall accuracy of it fills to the exact amount that it is supposed to and The shut off valve is quick and easy. When I need to replace the other fill valves in my other toilets or if I have to fix someone else's I will use this one again. It is just so hard to beat the best price and high quality that this toilet fill valve offers.

Amazing Green Product
After reading reviews and needing to repair one toilet and update the other I decided to purchase this. It was the best choice I could have made, it does everything it says and it takes no time to install. The cleaning tube does just what it says, after years of using dropins and such products the buildup sits in the bottom of your tank, while making adjustments and about after 4 flushes, the tank was clean of all that buildup. The sound is that of a new toilet, I will purchase another one of these for my other toilet along with the flapper, which in such a rush, I did not realize you could get the whole set. I did purchase the flapper, and it works great as well and instructions make installing a breeze. The original toilet I purchased this for needs a tank to toilet gasket, which I did not realize until I put this one on, I had not used it for years and the water was off, and I did not know was leaking,so I took it off and put it on the other toilet, I can honestly say, with taking out the old flush valve and installing this one it did not take 10 minutes total, the instructions are very clear and concise. If you want to upgrade your toilets without spending a lot of money or buying a whole new toilet, I highly recommend this product. I will also purchase the dual flush converter on the other toilet to get the full effect of this product, and from using this I can say I look forward to installing it, and waiting on my guests responses about my new toilet, which is actually what it feels like and sounds like , it was a fun experience and seeing the finished results I am proud of my purchase and look forward to giving a review about the dual flush converter once I purchase and install it. You can also see how much water you will save by the amount you are using with the adjustments compared to the older flush valves, the sound and the way the water swirls in the bowl you can tell the difference in the power you get with each flush as well. Other than loving this product and looking forward to experiencing the benefits of using it and upgrading my home at the same time is a plus. Thanks again Amazon for making my purchase experience a unique and rewarding one.

I really like the features of this toilet fill valve
I really like the features of this toilet fill valve. The bowl overflow adjustment is a nice water saving feature. The cleaning tube works well to keep water scum from accumulating in the toilet tank and on toilet flappers. The "click" locking mechanism ensures you don't over turn the locking nut when you screw this fill valve into the toilet tank. I have installed several of these fill valves in different toilets in the last five years and never had a problem with them. It seems I have had less issues with this valve than with other brands in the past. The first one of these HC660 fill valves I installed over five years ago still works as a normal fill valve but I did replace it recently because the special cleaning flow tube that is unique to this fill valve seemed to stop allowing water to flow for its special tank cleaning tube. However the valve continued to work to fill the tank just fine and I could have left it as it was working. My current residence has sixty year old steel pipes that tend to allow chunks of rust to break off and clog water valves. In older homes I have seen many fill valves including the popular competing brands run continuously when the valve disc became old, clogged or broke. You can turn off the water at the wall valve and then in the tank partially disassemble these float type fill valves without completely removing them from the tank... in order to clean the disc valve ... Look for the online videos on YouTube or other sites how to do this. (I noticed that this HC660 fill valve comes with a small locking tab you can see that is built into in back and very top of the valve. It may need to be twisted off or snapped off and pull out to be removed before the top assembly can be twisted off to get to the disc valve seal for cleaning. See the HydroClean web site for more information.) Note: One thing I noticed about the new HydroClean valves is they come shipped with the float adjustment turned all the way clockwise (float all the way to the top) which is a position where the float can not engage the disc to shut off. With a screwdriver or by hand simply rotate the float adjustment an adequate number of turns counterclockwise (lowering the float height) so that when the valve disc does settle and seat the float has enough space to float up to close the valve. A simple adjustment of the float height to make sure it is not at maximum height and has plenty of room to float higher remedies this. Note that this is the float height adjustment that I am referring to and NOT the tube height adjustment.

Wish I Knew About This Earlier
This Danco unit stands alone compared to other fill valves. I originally purchased one to replace the leaking valve in our guest bedroom, and was pleasantly surprised with the ease of installation and fit. What sold me was the in-tank cleaning line and adjustable bowl fill valve. Price was lower than other similar units, which led to be purchasing a secondary one for our master bathroom. There has been no signs of leaks since installation as well.

Hyped
LOL, I bought three of these Jan 7, 2011 and installed them about two weeks later. I have been very satisfied with how well they work. They are quiet and fill very rapidly. The clean feature is very suspect, however. I don't think that most people will find the need for the feature. I like the vertical float and the adjustability. The flow out of the micro valve is a croc. But the unit works. Jan 2014 - The units with the heaviest usage are leaking over the top of the standpipe even though properly adjusted. They turn off at the right spot but the water continues to flow at approximately the same volume until they either over flow or get real close to the top. Then the water finally stops. It occurred to me that the rubber seal might be worn so I put some silicone grease on them. The two that weren't overflowing both seem to be working properly (only one of them was failing by not shutting off right away, the other was ok yet). After the grease, these two continued to function but the failing unit (the one used the most) stopped overflowing for about three flushes, but then started to overflow again. It still allowed water through for several seconds after the float 'flipped' the switch, but stopped before the water overflowed the standpipe. I just happened to have a FluidMaster 400 that I bought about the same time (in case I didn't like these) so I stole the washer out of it and installed it and it worked - except that water flowed profusely out of the top of the valve. I have the older style with the blue cover that pops off so with the cover off the water was like a bidet. I just put the cover on and it worked, shutting off at the right point and everything. I didn't like that so I pulled it apart again and compared the two rubber seals a little more closely - the FluidMaster seal is a tad less thick than the Hydroclean. So I put the seal back into the FluidMaster and installed it in place of the Hydroclean and washed my hands of the whole thing. Enough already - I think the hype about all the advantages of the Hydro are a bunch of BS. I'll bet I wasted more water due to the overflow of the one than I ever saved over the three years I had all three installed. But I did get three years of use. The originals lasted only 5 yrs and these aren't dead yet. They should sell parts and have info on how to overcome the problems. I studied the website and if I used their instructions, I would have destroyed my units. I apparently have an older unit than the one they describe. The blue top on mine has to be removed and then a little stop lifted to turn counter clockwise to get at the rubber seal. The blue top is quite hard to get off. The seal has a lip that is about 3/4" in diameter that you can hook with your fingernail and the whole seal slides off the little pin. I do like the float arranged the way the FluidMaster 400 and this unit have them, but for twice the price, the Hydro isn't worth it to me. We'll see if the FluidMaster lasts three years, but if it doesn't I can buy the parts for it at the hardware store.

Easy installation turns out I love the cleaning tube idea.
I wasn’t sure about the tank cleaning tube but boy does it ever do a good job or keeping the sediment from accumulating in your tank. Easy to adjust for water level installation was a breeze reasonably quiet. Really pleased with design

Works well but keep the bottom retaining nut from the old unit
The unit works great and was easy to install , everything was great except for the bottom retaining nut that connects the toilet fill valve to the bottom of the tank. The one that comes with the unit isn't one you would tighten with a wrench it's a hand tight only kind of peace and that I couldn't get tight enuff to not leak, it has these little plastic arms that stick you and you're supposed to use them to hand tighten it down. But on mine there wasn't enuff space so I had to trim them doing that made them a little sharp and couldn't get it tightened as much as I needed so I used the plastic nut that I took off the old failed unit and I was able to tighten it down properly without any leaks cuts or clearance issues hope this helps , Good Luck
