Great invention. Great products!!!

These are very efficient & convenient ways to save food until you are ready to eat the rest of it.

These are well made, as the photos show very well packaged. I love the ingenuity of the women who came up with this product, also that it’s supporting American small businesses. They work as well as they possibly can, considering vegetables & fruits aren’t completely round in shape nor in size. I’ve had the most success with the humble onion. The set is lovely in color (ice blue) & well made. I’ll use them whenever they are beneficial. I don’t cover open unused can goods in the refrigerator so I can’t speak that usage, i put things like that in a lock & lock container that’s just a personal choice I’m sure these would work Four stars for the ingenuity creativity & well made durable product. I can’t de-star because most veggies and fruits I’ve bought don’t easily fit. fine. I like the product but for me personally I don’t use them enough to justify the cost. If they were something I could use at least once a week I might feel the benefits justified their cost, my personal opinion. If others have a better experience or tips please share. I always try to be fair & honest about my experience with anything I review so this is only my experience with a novel idea for preserving fresh fruits and vegetables. Happy Shopping

i never write reviews about anything but this was the best purchase i could make as a person who lives and cooks alone - it’s easy as pie to store the half-used produce and they stay fresher than if i used plastic wrap. haven’t tried this as a lid yet but it seems like it would work well. and the dishwasher cleans them so it’s super convenient!

Didn’t like them didn’t fit right don’t buy

We love these! Great for storing cut lemons, limes, cucumbers and covers for our Fresh Pet dog food roll. Ecologically a good solution...reuseable & less plastic wrap! Have given as gifts and everyone thinks these are awesome!

These are great produce huggers! This package comes with a variety of different sizes which fits produce from Safeway, Whole Foods, and Costco. I previously purchased a different brand of silicone covers; however, my husband disliked them, and found they would squish avocado or other fruit or vegetable. The previous silicone covers would not fit a large hot house tomato or Costco-size grapefruit. I returned them and purchased these huggers instead. We have used them for some time now and they are definitely a keeper. I included a picture of a large Costco avocado and a large Costco grapefruit. We have yet to come across a fruit that will not fit the seal. They are easy to clean with a brush or rubbing a dishcloth along the inside of the rim; I do not recommend using a sponge to clean, well maybe a very soft Scrub Daddy or Scrub Mommy; Dishwasher OK. Design is great and durability appears as though it will outlast any previously purchased and returned silicone version, making it a much better value for the money.

I don't write many product reviews but I have to say how impressed I am with this product. I first saw it on "Innovation Nation" and was curious. I decided to order a couple of sets and these really work. Here are two experiences: 1) I cooked a dish requiring 1/2 an onion two days before going on vacation; I nearly threw out the remainder of the onion fully expecting that it would go bad before I got back. I decided it would be a great test for the food huggers. I put the appropriate-sized food hugger on the onion and simply sat it on the shelf in my fridge. Two days later I left town for 10 days. Another day went by before I checked the fridge to see what I had to get at the grocery store and still didn't look at the onion, what was noticeable at that point was that the entire refrigerator did NOT smell like onion. A day or so after that, I went to cook a meal requiring onion and fully expected that the onion I left behind would not be usable. Not only was it not rotten or moldy, but it still smelled fresh and was still juicy not dried out or withered perfectly fine to use. 2.) I skeptically used a food hugger on 1/2 a heirloom tomato planning to use the other half a day or two later. Life got busy, plans changed and a full week later, the tomato was still sitting there. The tomato was fine and only suffered a little from being in too cold of a section of my fridge. Very impressive. The only thing that requires some adjustment is cutting your vegetables in such a way that a circular cross-section is there for the food hugger to fit onto. I consider this to be only a minor inconvenience.

Die Food hugger in unterschiedlichen Größen begleiten mich inzwischen seit einigen Monaten und ich möchte sie nicht mehr missen. Im Küchenalltag fallen beinahe täglich angeschnittene Obst- oder Gemüsestücke an. Ob halbe Äpfel, Bananen oder Zitronen, Zwiebeln oder Avocados - für jedes Reststück findet sich der passende Food hugger. Schnittflächen trocknen nicht mehr ein und Sauerstoff kann weniger Schäden durch Oxidation anrichten. So ist das Reststück bis zu seiner Verwendung gut aufgehoben. Die Behältnisse sind aus Silikon und lassen sich einfach reinigen. Sie können auch mit in den Geschirrspüler und sind somit hygienisch einwandfrei. Von mir gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
