Lid fits perfectly on container. Sturdy & nice quality. Company easy to work with & was delivered within 24 hours.

Fits as described. This lid is not meant to be used as an air-tight cover for the tub on which it fits. It does the job it was designed to do, allow the container to breath while marinating meats or chilling before grinding. This is an exact match for the one that I broke. It is hard plastic and it’s strong enough to stack two or three tubs on each other to save space in an otherwise overcrowded cooler. It will become brittle over time, that’s how mine got broken. Should get another 10 years or so of use out of my tub now. There are cheaper versions available, but usually you get what you pay for.

The lids fits a bit loosely. If you are a commercial user you might expect this to retain liquids; it will not. If the container were filled with liquid, such as soup, this lid would pop off as you drive. I don't use the container for liquids thinner than a casserole so it is great for me.

Very poor fit on 16.5 gallon container. Don't buy it! Utter garbage. Rubbermaid should be embarrassed at the junk they sell.

Bought both containers and lids for a Lions Club grilled chicken dinner. Food grade and very durable for containing raw chickens in the refrigerator.

This is the lid that should have come with the Rubbermaid bin that I ordered. The lid sits in place- does not “lock”. In place. That being said, it is pretty sturdy- so other bins can be stacked on top of it , if need be.

Great matched with the Rubbermaid food box for Anova sous-vide. Just cut a 2 3/8 inch hole in the lid and sit it in there. I used a 2 3/8 bi-metal hole saw to do it.

This lid, which was made specifically for the container it goes with, was a big disappointment. I expected the lid to fit snugly, you know, that it would go snap and hold and that it might require a bit of effort to remove. Like a lot of lids on plastic containers. This lid just sits there and try as I may, I cannot get it attached to the container. Considering that the container is meant for food, this is a definite letdown.

Bought this to go with my Rubbermaid 3304CLR for sous-vide cooking. Just need to drill a hole in this and is perfect.
