Once I got this thing put together I like it… but pieces didn’t quite fit correctly and its not a screwed in, in couple of spots. BUT even with this, it looks great and is still sturdy.

For those who follow me on Amazon Reviews, you know that I’m an arthritic 71 year old who got a C in eighth grade metal shop (even though my project, a mounted outside house number and name marker) lasted 40 years in my parent’s front yard). My father always got a kick out of the fact that I’d gotten a C, and I’d really like to know how my classmates’ projects held up over the four decades. But that was 57 years ago, no arthritis or other postural impediments back then.Today I put together this cheapo but functional bookcase and it looks good and definitely holds my books as expected and doesn’t wobble. The directions were not entirely clear, as is typical for these China-produced products, but all the holes were drilled properly and all the parts were there thankfully. I give myself an A- on this project (reduced my grade because I put one section in backwards and had to undo and redo it, but that was largely owing to the crappy directions) and an A+ for enduring the three hours of back and hip pain as I skirted around on the floor.And I’m thankful to the Amazon delivery person who carried it to my apartment door, rather than leaving it in the mailroom (as is usual), which would have required me to find someone (or pay someone) to finish the delivery, which would have made me very angry. But she was very gracious and helped me without even a wince or a grimace. And she said “you’re welcome baby” when I thanked her, which also pleased me (even though I’m a big baby).If you are over 70 and got a C in junior high school metal shop in 1966, you might considering asking someone less physically disabled and more deft to help you when you assemble this.Don’t forget to like and subscribe.

Gave it 4 stars due to blemish on a couple of the shelves edges. Other than that it looks great.

It was pretty easy to put together. Love it and actually able to get stuff off the floor which is huge for me.

Love this shelf. It was easy to build, took about 20 minutes.

Seems like a decent quality shelf but just came damaged.
