This is actually a great dryer. For those who might have seen video reviews with quickly flipping the power switch, say it doesn't work... This electric system is not meant to be flipped on and off quickly. After flipping the switch, it does take a second or 2 to activate, and another one or two to come up to speed. If you have a heat setting, it will take another few seconds to come up to the correct temperature. I think that's because of the electric board. But honestly...even with something much simpler, like a ceiling fan, flipping the switch on and off fast, will not give the fan time enough to adjust to the programmed speed. In fact ANY professional grooming dryer will not have time to fully turn on let alone get up to temperature flipping the switch that fast. I will say the digital display might add a second or two over all longer to get to desired speed and temperature than a more simple dryer with just one toggle switch, but that's completely expected and understandable. I am a professional groomer, and have used this over 7 years with zero issues. The versatility (variable heat and air flow, and it's the only dryer I have that gives a real time air temp read) of this dryer is great. Also, brushless motor really saves on maintenance and the filter system does a great job. (If you've used other, even expensive dryers, the filter they come with usually isn't great, and the better filter also really saves on maintenance) I do use a different dryer for big thick coated dogs like huskies though. It would work, but would be slower than my other dryers.

This is the most bad quality. In 4 months the machine star with problems in the motor and pipe. I contacted the seller in hi told me, I need to contact directly the the XPower company. I sent the machine to the company for to fix it, I waited for more than one month, when they returned my machine, the machine still with the same problems! They didn't anything! Now I contact Amazon customers because I need my money back. And now I waiting the resolution. DON'T BUY THIS BLOW DRYER.

This is a new generation of professional pet dryer. Since there is no blush in it, this blast dryer can last very long, which equals to 8-10 regular blush motor dryers. The variable speed control and heat control function is making this dryer as a finish or stylish stand dryer if we put it on Xpower unique stand SDKII. The price is very reasonable also. A wonderful pet dryer for professional groomers or DIY home grooming with professional results.
