Good customer service.
I first have to say I purchased this unit on sale it appeared good quality and robust. I had never really used a rock tumbler since I was very young. Then it was a novelty item given to me by my parents. Living on the beach with a variety of rocks all over the place I went to work collecting and had this unit working for a couple months at a time never stopping except to change grits. To my dismay the motor stopped. I contacted the seller. Gave them the situation, within a week I had a replacement motor. They were fast to respond for the initial contact (24 hours). After sending a video I was back up and running in a week. I sure can't complain. Thank you.As to the quality of the unit. It is simple and staight forwad to use. The tumbler is robust and it never leaks. There are instructions with the unit. I have bought other brands, had issues with leaks and failures after weeks. Another brand even melted. I am very satisfied with the quality of this unit and their customer service.

Great results. Great customer service!
Loving my K1 tumbler! Have used it for almost a year now and the results are just as I expected! Some of the rocks come out lovely but primarily I use it for shaping sea glass and pottery sherds for jewelry. Works great! When I had an issue with the lid (totally my fault) they quickly shipped me a replacement part.

Rock Tumbler: A Gem of a Machine (Mostly)
Alright, rock enthusiasts and aspiring geologists, gather 'round! I recently acquired the KomeStone K1 Pro Professional Cutting-Edge Rock Tumbler, hoping to transform my collection of backyard pebbles into sparkling treasures worthy of a museum (or at least, my mantelpiece). This machine is, indeed, cutting-edge... or at least, it cuts through the rough edges of rocks with impressive dedication. It's like a tiny, geological spa for your stones, giving them the smooth, polished glow they've always dreamed of. My rocks are now so shiny, I'm pretty sure they're starting to develop egos. The "professional" part? Well, it certainly sounds important, and it feels pretty robust. It hums along, doing its thing, turning mundane rocks into mini works of art. I've spent an embarrassing amount of time just watching it spin, mesmerized by the slow, steady transformation. It's surprisingly therapeutic, almost like a lava lamp, but with more potential for bling. My only minor quibble is that I now have an overwhelming urge to collect all the rocks. Every walk is an archaeological dig, every pebble a potential masterpiece. My pockets are perpetually full, and my family is starting to eye me suspiciously when I bring home yet another bag of "future gems." This tumbler is so effective, it's turning me into a rock hoarder. So, if you're looking to polish your pebbles (and perhaps your patience), the KomeStone K1 Pro is a solid investment. Just be warned: you might develop a serious case of "rock fever." It's a gem of a machine, and I'm totally rocking my new hobby!

Solid little tumbler, stage 4 grit too coarse
We’ve been really happy with this tumbler so far (picked it up as a Christmas gift). Not too noisy, a nice selection of similar hardness stones, and the instruction manual was actually quite good for explaining the steps etc…Only two things we’ve noted: the stage 4 1200 grit isn’t really enough to leave the stones with that bright and shiny polish, so you’ll need to pick up a 8000+ grit as well. We’ve also noticed that it sometimes doesn’t want to turn back on after stopping (mania or automatic). No apparent reason, but fiddling with it a bit seems to reset whatever the issue is and let you get back to tumbling. All in all quite satisfied, but we’ll see how time tells.

A great Tumbler for the price if you know how to use it.
I’ve run this tumbler nonstop 24/7 for just over a year. It’s still going, though the lid seal and rollers are worn.Pros: Easy to load, countdown timer, pause button, durable barrel, brushless motor holds up well, fairly quiet, compact, no leaks, and low energy use.Cons: Even on the lowest speed it’s too fast for anything beyond shaping rough rocks and can bruise softer ones (even with ceramic media). You can’t slow it down enough for later stages without changing pulleys. Doesn’t restart automatically after a power outage, and belts wear quicker than I’d like. If you haven’t heard it enough already, the polish that is provided will NOT give you the high polished shine.Overall: Excellent for rough stage one rocks. Once the rough edges are knocked off I move the rocks to a slower tumbler to finish stage one and beyond. It’s a reliable workhorse, though I’ll get the standard motor next time since it’s easier to adjust the speed.
