We use these to renew our cat's scratching posts on our cat tree. We wind them around the poles and then fasten them in at the top and bottom. Product creates a bit of dust Soni would recommend wearing a mask but this hemp is very good quality and should last our cat's destructive scratching for a couple of years. Very happy.

This twine is great! Very thick and durable. I use it for crafting, little projects, decorative stuff and present wrapping! Great value for the cost and is a very big roll! Doesn't tangle either, win win win!

This is great rope. It’s packaged and wrapped neatly and there’s no smell to it like others have mentioned or other sellers jute sometimes have. I’m so glad I made this purchase. The price point is good too! The texture isn’t too rough or prickly. It’s not super soft either. Honestly, I found it to be the perfect texture for a cat scratching post. I’m buying more and will continue to as long as it’s in stock. BTW if your looking for rope to refresh or build a new scratch post the 8mm 164ft was plenty for 2’H x 5”W post.
