The radio is very good and receive very good signal. The sound is very crispy and the radio is worth cost. The size is really pocket-sized. Don't be confused and order this. It is the best.

The Radio is working like gem,to be honest it is designed perfectly,high quality DSP chip is used I can feel it. (1)Body is made of high quality plastic. (2)speakers are great it’s loud enough. (3)Searching of stations has to be done manually. (4)It has 3.5 Audio jack for headphones,low volume is fine and high (5)Clip on Slider is there for holding on to your pants and bag. Yes you can buy it confidently,but make sure to not expose on rain or mist of water,I think the speaker area is open to invite any water pouring or sprayed,may damage the device.

I was looking fora portable radio for long. Came across this. It is small, fits in falm, reception quality is good. Sounds are clear. Loud enough. Shows indication for battery ( red light) and radio channels (green light). It has one button which acts as off, FM and AM. SO, it's value for money, have good look, easy to operate. A charging function would have been better. Nevertheless, it's a good product. Wish , Indian 🇮🇳brand could replicate this.

It worked good for 15 days, then all of sudden it is not working properly. It does not catch the frequency properly. Sometimes it works other time it does not work. Sound is also not good. Bought seeing it as Amazon's choice. Amazon should check the quality of such products properly before labeling it as Amazon's choice. I feel cheated.

Awesome product. Handheld and loud. Very compact and catches both AM amd FM, So, good functionality. Battery life is not bad as well

A minha deceção foi completa ao experimentar o rádio Prunus J-166. Na bamda Am, no local onde resido (Cascais - Portugal) capta apenas uma estação e deficientemente. Em FM é apenas um pouco menos mau. Havia rádios a um terço do preço, com boas referências, mas como ele se destina a um Kit de sobrevivência, quis comprar algo que eu pensava que seria de alta qualidade, e foi com esse intuito queme dispûs um preço muito mais alto. Afinal sucedeu exatamente o inverso.

Bought this Prunus J-166 Portable AM FM battery operated radio to have on hand in the event of a black out/hydro outage event as we experienced in 2025. Very satisfied with the quality of this little radio. Good sold feel and excellent radio reception. The sound is steady and does not waiver. Useds 2 double AA batteries. Hightly recommend.

Pronus J-166 portable radio is a fine little radio with excellent tuning, easy set up, and a handy clip on the back to attach the radio to your clothes. The sound quality is excellent, with an antenna which allows for reception of long distance stations. I was a bit hesitant to purchase this item at such a low price. However, the Pronus J-166 is proving to be a wise choice. 🌷

Good little transister radio. I keep it within reach in te event of power failures. Very handy to have! Sound is clear and it's good on batteries. The radio cannot be used while taking public transportation however. The reception goes SOUTH.
