Saving money saving money
Installed it on my phone that I broke to retreat retrieve the data that was on it it worked fine unfortunately the screen on the phone was smashed so bad that the phone wasn't of use. Bought the product just to retrieve the information worked great for my purposes.

Works great
I purchased this charger to use in a phone mount I was making for my vehicle. It was very slim and fit very well inside my design. CAUTION: The alignment of the device you are charging is crucial. On my galaxy s20 ultra there was little margin for error with the alignment. It's just the nature of a small single coil charger like this one. It works great and I intend to buy a few more to make chargers for my other car and desk at work.

Lights things on fire.
This thing almost burned my house down. I 3D printed a housing for this to sit on my nightstand, I came home one day and the entire thing was melted into a puddle and smoking. Nothing was charging during this time, or was even CLOSE to the coil. Stay away from this product, unless you want conflagration on your hands.

Part worked for about an hour then died.
UPDATE: Product seller sent me a replacement component. Several hours of use in and it seems to be much sturdier than the first one I received. The circuit board is a different design. I would guess a different production company was used for the second component. Changing my review from 1 to 3 stars. The product worked fairly well for about an hour. I knew from the reviews that product durability was a concern and that turned out to be true. Issues: 1)The plate the coil sits on looks like a piece of sturdy metal, but it was very brittle and cracked when I attempted to install it into a frame. 2) chip set will recognize a charging pad is nearby and connect to it, but will disconnect a few seconds later. It repeats this pattern a few times then stays disconnected but the charging light stays on. 3) chip set gets quite warm while charging, could be part of what caused it to fail. It may require a cooling fan to keep from burning out, can't say for sure. It's too bad the transmitter failed, the chip set was easy to design a mount for and fit well into my project. I'd have to recommend against purchasing it, durability just isn't there.

Works well, needs some air flow to not overheat
Functionally, the charger works well. The circuit is exposed, so you can actually use it to study how a Qi transmitter works, use an oscilloscope to see how the inductor is switched. There should be a stiff flat plate in the package that is slightly wider than the ferrite sheet, otherwise it is inevitable that the ferrite sheet will break. Mine was broken through the middle. It matters very little in terms of electrical performance, but it’s so easy and cheap to fix, I hope the seller reads this and fixes the problem. Do not enclose the little circuit board, it will eventually overheat if you do.

A potentially very useful product
I bought this with the intention of sticking it to the phone holder in my car. It starts out with a small current draw, then increases to about an amp. It won’t be the fastest charger I have, but the convenience factor of making my preferred holder wireless……

Works well through 1/8" plywood
I got two of these to power up a tablet stand I made on the engraver. 1/8" walnut plywood with one of these on the back worked very well.

Matches Picture and Description
The Gikfun Qi charger matches the picture and description supplied. Specifically the measurements of the charging coil assembly is exactly as described, thus in my case fits as a replacement into another product. Overall the charging assembly (CCA and coil) does work, though I am not planning to use the circuit card.

This charging coil came well packaged with the brittle bits wrapped in thick foam. I had a work colleague help me resolder it as I needed to pass the wires through a hole in the base for my project. He said it was probably silver solder as it had a much higher melt point, if that's worth anything to anyone. I will be encasing this in epoxy as part of my DIY monitor riser for my office. I don't know if the epoxy will hinder the signal at all, but with nothing but air between the phone and the coil, it picks up power about a half an inch away. Lights all work. The only possible concern is that it initially made a high pitched noise when I plugged it in. It hasn't done it again, so maybe it was a faulty cord? Anyway, it works great. Recommended.

I’m currently using this to wirelessly charge my keyboard that has a wireless charging acceptor taped to the bottom. I carved it into some foam and put a mat on top of it and it is able to charge through all of this with no issues. It gets slightly hot but not hot enough to be concerning or start a fire. It’s a good cheap option for DIY projects and works reliably

The device powers on, the lights come on but it does not charge. I have tried it on different models of iphone older and the latest (without the case) and it did not detect the wireless charger or vice-versa. I have tried different power sources as well, multiple workstation, and UPS (battery supplied), along with an USB electrical outlet, and had no luck. Simply does not work

I've used this to build a phone charger into my desk top by routing out a cavity from below the surface. Now I simply place my phone down on desk right above the coil and it charges. I have full access to the phone while it's charging and no fussing with cables or a charger stand on the desk.

All parts worked flawlessly (until i accidently desoldered the blue LED) but it heats up a lot and it is pretty slow. personally, i would look for a faster one. this might have just been my 5V supply circuit however in which case. this thing even works at lower amperages which is nice.
