Would one of these fit on a 1/4 inch rope?

Yes absolutely. I run the 8/0 size on my 1/4 braided nylon rope for catfish trotlines. 8/0 is the perfect size for 1/4 rope. Goes on easy, not tight, not loose, and moves freely.

Im trying to catch GT maximum weight maybe 100lbs. Which size do i need to purchase.

I shark fish in Tampa Bay I use 210 lb. nylon coated wire with a 320 lb Dr. Fish swivel. I always use a bigger swivel I think it helps with all the presure on the line. Hope this helps. Have a great Fishing Day.

What size swivel is appropriate for trout fishing: 6lb test flouro,1/8oz lures, light spinning rod?

For trout I would tie line to line look up how to tie line to line knots
