[2nd Generation] Portable Travel Bidet by GUSTYLE
Since my back Surgery just don't have the maneuverability so needed to buy a bidet addon for my toliet and it was god send. Traveling became a problem since I haven't found one motel that has a bidet even in the handicap rooms. Checked and found that portable hand held bidet are available either squeezed bottle or battery powered so figured powered would be way to go. I picked this brand because seams they have experience in this business and today gave it a try. It worked out fine and it has 2 force setting but only used high so far. Doesn't have the power of a toilet one has but good enought to get the job done without making a mess. You remove the plastic cover and fill it partly with water then attach it to the bottom of the main unit with a twist until it locks. You then fold down the bar positioning it under your backside a push one of the buttons and water begins to flow. Takes little practice and might take couple of runs since doesn't hold lot of water but its lot better than back pain. Check the results after washing and flushing then ran my toilet bidet and all was clear, thumbs up. Update: tried it few times now and still thumbs up but has 2 small issues that should have been taken into account but minor. One not bag or case to carry it should have been one specifically since comes with 2 heads, second no fill line on the water cap so easy to over fill so I would not hook it to main unit unless over sink until you learn the water level that works. FYI "ProCase Hard Case for Philips Norelco OneBlade" or ones like ProCase Hard Travel Carrying Case worked out fine it holds the bidet, extra nozzle and batteries. Update: correction there is a fill line somewhat but very hard to see and does come with carrying bag but i would invest in hard case you will need it. It's working out perfectly but my 3 recommendations, 1) bring spare batteries a few sets just in case. Why the hard case comes in handy it can hold long battery plastic battery holder. 2) alcohol wipes to clean spray arm if dirty. 3) have a gallon jug of water near the toilet specially if sink isn't close because you run through water fast and going to take more than one tank to fully clean. Update: now 2024 and it's starting to loose power with a much diminished flow force of water. Luckily I bought a second one before my trip which I'm now using. Still worth every penny it cost to have a clean bumb with no pain.

Its a miracleโฆ
I purchased this little bullet cause I donโt like โreleasing demonsโ in public cause 1. I canโt get comfortable, B. they (the public toilet) repulse me and most importantly, I like to โget cleanโ ie shower after I exorcise said demons. It sucks cause if one refuses to go I have to push and wind up pinching it off thus causing a serious need for a baptism of the bum! In comes this sweet baby jesus to the rescue! He washes from the rooter to the tooter. Letโs just call him John the Baptist (JtB)! He washes everything so clean that all I need is a couple squares to pat dry. A few times I followed JtB with some wet wipes cause I was a non-believer like Clarence. But once I saw the miracle it performed each time, I became a believer! I believe!!! I believe so much, I sent my daughter a JtB as a surprise even tho she has no issues in โreleasing demonsโ anywhere. Now upon first glance, he looks like a special toy and I canโt wait for the look on TSA face when they see him in my luggage through the scan! It would have been nice if he came with a travel bag, but itโs ok Iโll find one! I do have two things Iโm not most pleased with JtB thoโฆfirst being, he doesnโt have a water fill line. I overfill him every time and lastly, the water does not last a minute. Iโve only ever used the low setting and the water runs out each time. The tooter be so fresh and so clean so Iโm not complaining too much. If this review has made you a believer, a little happier, was remotely inspiring or helpful, I recommend you to get one! (No I am not a robot or AI making this postโฆLMAO)

(Edit) Game Changer! But it didn't last long - Motor gave out (See end of my review)
I'll be back in about a month to do an update to this travel bidet, but for now I've had it for approximately 3 days and it is worth the money! It was easy to assemble. It has a high and low speed and they both get the job done. I purchased this bidet for two reasons and one was to see just how much it would lessen the amount of personal wipes I use after a number two. I'm a hyper wiper and so far this little gadget has cut my wipe use by more than 1/2 the amount and the extra clean I feel from it is so refreshing. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars right now is because I want to see how the motor on it runs over some time. This is not returnable, so definitely make sure it sounds like what you want before purchasing but I don't think you'll be disappointed. (Edit on April 28, 2025) - My bidet gave out yesterday. Since January, I changed the batteries twice. I noticed about 2 weeks ago that the water pressure was weaker even on the high setting. Since day one, I made sure to take all the steps necessary to keep it clean and dry. I put fresh batteries in it one last time and it slowly gave out during use. It was great while it lasted.

It serves the purpose
First, over-the-toilet-bidet is expensive and not everyone knows how to install. Also, not every toilet has a (water) tank where you can connect to an over-the-toilet-bidet or handheld spray. This device uses two AAA batteries to pump the water. To use it, just fill it with water and press the button - very simple! Keep in mind this device lasts about 9 months. Iโve tried other brands, they also last about 8 to 9 months. They either just stop working or the jet stream becomes very thin and weak - even when you replace it with new batteries and jet-head that come with this product. When the battery is new, the water pressure is strong. After daily use for about 2 weeks, as battery loses its energy, the jet stream also becomes weaker. If you like strong jet stream, just replace the batteries. UPDATE (9/3/2024๏ผ๏ผ It seems the quality of this device is getting worse! I bought it on 6/22, and it stopped working today - only last two months! Iโm very disappointed!

Very well made portable bidet
Love this little portable bidet for traveling or home. It is solidly made right out of the box. It takes 2 AAA batteries has a seal cap so the whole bidet can get splash with water without issues. The little plastic cover also becomes the water tank so very compact. I like you can just fill the tank to what ever temperature water you like and the spray can be high pressure or low pressure of baby. Even at high pressure it's pretty gentle on your anus. It comes with two rubber nozzle and easy to clean. Update: the pressure seem to die pretty fast on these because it consume battery pretty fast. Then the pressure becomes so weak it won't work well for adults. For babies it's low pressure is fine for loose stools. For solid stools it will not clean well. I think that is why many having issue with battery. It has to be certain type of AAA battery or it won't even work.

Effective, quiet and a great value!
I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this gizmo! I purchased this item to be able to stay clean if moist wipes and toilet paper become unavailable during this time of Covid. I tried it to make sure it would work and found it to be quite ingenious. Yes, the water reservoir does need a refill if do you have more detailed cleaning to do, but that can be solved by having an extra water bottle nearby to refill. I thought the water would need to be quite warm to be comfortable but actually room temperature was even fine. I found it to be discreet and very quiet, actually. I was expecting something like the sound of an electric toothbrush but itโs very much quieter than that. The design itself is very good. I like the way the reservoir covers the unit for travel and you simply have to fill that up, screw the unit together and adjust the wand to any angle that you may need. I like that there are two intensities of water flow, too. This wouldโve been wonderful to use after childbirth. I had a squeeze bottle that was helpful but this wouldโve been more thorough. The value is great for the price and I would recommend it to anyone!

Wonderful invention
I am a germ freak. I have a sophisticated bidet at home. I really enjoy to do my thing at home. Unfortunately, when a biological need calls when I am outside, I have no choice. I always carry toilet seat cover, Lysol spray and finally this portable battery operated bidet. This is so wonderful. The bidet has 2 settings: high and low. On high, the squirting runs for about 20 seconds. I usually carry a water bottle to refill this bidet. The water compartment of this bidet contains about 200 ml of water. I can refill this compartment twice with 500 ml regular size water bottle. This bidet is powered by 2 aaa batteries. I wouldn't trade my sophisticated bidet at home with this. However, when I am on the go, this is always with me like my cellphone. In summary, the positives are: - the squirting is sufficiently strong enough - this bidet is powered by ubiquitous aaa batteries. - this bidet is lightweight and can be pocketed easily. The drawbacks are: - the water compartment always contains 200 ml. So, I usually bring in a 500 ml regular size water bottle with me as I usually use about 400 ml.

Excellent Design with a caveat
Works great, simple to use, very convenient and discreet. A great design in general, BUT the connection of the water reservoir to the spray unit wears and breaks. I used it on and off for about a year and gradually the notches started to break and now there is no longer a secure seal. The entire unit is useless now. Unfortunately there is no contact information that I can find for the company to get a simple replacement for the water reservoir. I have posed the question about getting a replacement part in the Q&A here and there were no answers, I have tried to find a customer service number for the company with no luck. The unit should be shipped with an extra water reservoir. Then it would be worth buying.

Next best thing to a bidet
Bought one for a 10 day cruise, used multiple times per day, worked perfectly. Spray strength on high is equivalent to a medium of a normal bidet (which I own one at home). Water volume is sufficient for the job but just refill if not. Takes couple of practice to get the position right but nothing major. Highly recommend.

Great for personal hygene while traveling or at home!
Update: #3, Sept. 2024 After 2 yrs and my first Gustyle Bidet is still working great! I make sure to keep it as clean as possible, using just dish soap and soak it and use tiny brushes to get into where the wand rotates, it can build up there, because it doesn't dry out as easily. Would be nice if cleaning brushes come with it to get into the wand area. Too those that complain that the unit just stopped working. I've found that over time the mesh on the filter whole can get clogged up, and the unit will either stop working or slow down, even if the batteries are fresh. I have a can of compressed air and us it to blow out the filter, and it's back to working like a charm. If you don't have compressed air, try a hairdryer. Update: #2, Nov. 2023 It's been well over a year and my GUSTYLE bidet is still working great! Bought a second unit, as back up and to leaving in my travel bag. Generally I use cold water, but noticed that it is quieter when warm water is used. As the batteries run down so does the pressure, just means you have to refill more to get the desired cleaning. Still works just great! Update: # 1, Nov. 19, 2022 Purchased GUSTYLE bidet in early Sept, used it while on vacation for 2 weeks and now use it daily at home. Bought it primarily to help eliminate UTI issues, along with taking Utiva Cranberry pills daily, which I highly recommend. So far I am UTI free for 10 weeks! Since using this bidet, and knowing how close it is to your privates, I appreciate that it has its own refillable water tube that the unit is stored in, rather than using a store bought water bottle, where its been in contact with everything. [yuck] However, the tube is the most fragile part of the unit and likely to be the first thing to break or crack over time. Also, I think best to clean with just cool, soapy water. I think hot water will contribute to the plastic water tub failing. GUSTYLE Bidet is still working fine, pressure seems to be the same, no issues with batteries getting wet. In fact still using the first set of batteries I installed, after the ones that came with the unit died after about about a week. Would like to know if anyone can compare the GUSTYLE to the other very similar looking models? Not sure that I would trust the USB powered models. At least with batteries its ready to go and batteries are available every where. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Original Post: I bought this for my own personal use while traveling. Fits easily in my purse, is relatively quiet and comes with a spare head sprayer and nice discreet black bag to store it in. This does not totally eliminate the use of paper, but you use a lot less and it makes you feel shower clean. I see some other reviews on a similar model, where the guy did a video and claims the one he ordered didn't work. I can see from the video that the batteries were not installed properly (both in the same direction). On this model the +- symbols are difficult to see but I figured it out. I like this so much that I'd like to buy one for home use, but will wait and see if there are any upgrades to this model like it has had in the past. There is always room for improvement, possibly the manufacture could highlight the symbols some how and I would like to see the spray arm be a few inches longer and maybe spray pressure be a little more powerful, possibly with AA batteries instead of AAA. Yes this might make the unit slightly bigger but it wouldn't make it that much bigger, and I'd be ok with that. The battery operated are way better than the messy squeeze bottle types, that may hold more water (their only benefit). I'd rather refill than make a mess all over the place. I've had is for a month now and so far I'm very happy with it. Will follow up with any changes.
