Brightener did not brighten boat interior teak, at all.
Garbage product - it does not work at all. I took a cabinet door from my boat's galley, pre-sanded to remove all of the prior finish, and then used this to try and brighten it from age-related darkening. It didn't work even the slightest bit. I did not have high expectations, but this could have been water in a bottle and the difference would have been unchanged. Fifteen bucks and 20 minutes I'll never get back.

Used and bottle seal was open. Label was faded. Looks very old. Seal was deteriorated
Did not use the product because it said, once opened, use within a year. From the look of it, it looks very old

Not impressed
Purchased for Teak furniture. Followed directions and saw little to no results. Made sure that all oils were removed and wood was sanded before using the product

Didn't do a thing for my expensive teak table. What a waste of money as far as I'm concerned.

Didn't make a difference
I bought the teak cleaner and oil as well, however, I tested chairs with and without the "brightener". It didn't make a difference at all. Skip this step. Not needed.

Brings life back to tired teak bench
The bench I treated was suffering badly from the effects of the sun having been neglected by the owner for many years. I found that I needed to apply two treatments to get a reasonable improvement in colour. As the sheltered part of the bench still had varnish I ended up varnishing the whole bench. Once finished I got several compliments on how good the bench especially given the original very faded state.
