This is awesome! I've been a fan of Transformers and Lego since I was a little kid. Even though I'm now a middle-aged man, I couldn't resist getting this set. It's very big and very fragile, so it's definitely not for kids. But it makes a great collector's piece. I heard that Lego discontinued this set, so I'm glad I got one while it was still available.

Shipped on time and without damage. It’s an expensive LEGO. It does transform but BE patient and careful. My 11 YO finished in 4 hours.

I am very impressed with this kit, it's a great representation of Optimus Prime. In my opinion, the build is easy overall; I spent around 10 hours on this and had a great time putting this together. The only downsides I can find are with some joints. The shoulders and elbows are pretty good, but it would be nice if they were just a bit more stiff. The waist seems really loose though, which I think is compensated for by having the grill fold in a bit. He stands very well, even while hold his gun and axe, whether or not the jet pack is on. The transformation process is super easy, and I love the redesign to accommodate the hands vs. removing them like the old toy. As a truck, I wish the arms and cab locked into place just a bit more, similar to how the legs lock together. My biggest complaint though? There's no trailer?!! 😂 Hopefully they would consider a secondary set to add the original trailer design of the G1 toy. Overall, very happy with this purchase and the build process. Considering this is more for display, I don't mind the loose joints.

Muy recomendable sobretodo si eres una persona que creció viendo Transformers en los 80’s. Es asombroso ver como un Lego se puede transformar de robot a vehículo y quedar tan bien en ambas formas.

Optimus Prime was my favorite Transformer growing up, and probably similar for a lot of people. Combining this with Lego for this amazing display set is a double win in my books. This is a more advanced build for more mature collectors and Lego fans, might be more challenging for younger children. I do like all the details, the ability to transform, the overall size and choice of weapons. You almost want to buy 2, so you can display it in both forms.
