Back lit display is a bit difficult to read.
If they had not backlight the display, this kitchen scale would have been about perfect. I like the simplicity of the controls. 2 buttons, 1 tare and 1 unit. I like all the unit of measurement options. oz, ml, lb'oz, and grams. As a professional baker, I need a good kitchen scale. I had one years ago that did grams and lb'oz, but it died. Then I bought one not realizing that it did not have a gram function. It still works but I am happy to have the gram function again with this scale. I compared the new scale with my old one and found that this new one consistently weighed 1/10th of an ounce heavier than my old scale. Close enough for me. Getting back to the issue I have with the display: If you are looking at the display straight on, it is fine. But if you are looking at it at any kind of angle, you will be able to see the "shadow" of the numbers that are not lit. See pics attached to this review.

Exactly what I Needed
My mom starting telling me all the benefits of having a kitchen scale. I rolled my eyes and moved the conversation along. Truthfully, I thought kitchen scales were just for people on a diet. Why would I need another kitchen tool that I will use for a second and put it away? Then I started shipping things to sister who moved away. I needed a scale so that I could ship things with accurate pricing. All of a sudden, her kitchen scale became my mailing scale. Then I started using it for baking recipes. You know those that actually say the weight vs the tbsp/cup measurements? I love that it's smaller sized, so it doesn't take up too much room. Overall, it's been exactly what I needed.

Easy to use
Small light weight scale. Comes with batteries and a 15 yr warranty. I really like the bright scale numbers and easy to navigate different weight.
