I was placed in the relatively common position of having to replace my long standing outdoor clothes line. After much deliberation I made my choice. A pre-stretched, plastic coated, wire job. Perfect... or so I thought. Long story short, my new pre-stretched clothes line proceeded to stretch unmercifully. I needed a solution which did not involve constantly shortening the line manually. After some Amazon searching, I came upon these. Once fitted, the item allows any slack to be quickly, and conveniently wound into the device... thus keeping the line taught. It works very well. The item is well made, weather proof so far, and durable. Ten items came in the inexpensive pack, of which I have used two so far, on separate lines. A simple solution, but it works. 5 stars.

Not used very often but when you need them these fit the bill. Well made and work very well and won't rust, what's not to like?. Good value for their usefulness.

I was surprised how small and lightweight these were when they arrived. Having used a good number of them now, I can confirm that they are very strong and easy to use. The ratchet built in saves a lot of hassle when tightening wires, although there seems to be now way to loosen them if needed. But nice to work with and made the job that much quicker.

Les tendeurs sont bien fabriqués, en métal galvanisé de bonne qualité. L’ensemble est cohérent : pas de pièces manquantes ou déformées, la finition est correcte, sans bavures tranchantes. L'installation est simple : il suffit d’enfiler le fil à travers le tendeur, puis de le serrer à l’aide d’une clé plate ou d’une pince. Le système de cliquet fonctionne bien, le fil se tend progressivement sans retour en arrière. Utilisé ici sur un séchoir à linge avec fil de linge de 4 mm, les tendeurs remplissent parfaitement leur rôle. Une fois en place, le maintien est ferme, et ils ne bougent pas avec les vibrations ou les changements de température. Seul petit bémol : l’épaisseur du métal est légèrement inférieure à certains modèles plus haut de gamme, mais pour un usage domestique ou agricole léger, ça fait très bien le travail. Avis basé sur une utilisation réelle du produit. J’essaie de rédiger des retours clairs et utiles pour aider d’autres clients.

Dodatkowo w poszczególnych napinaczach śruby służące do przekręcania wałka trochę różnią się od siebie kształtem, co sprawia problemy w doborze odpowiedniego klucza. Podsumowując, produktowi jest raczej bliżej do taniej podróbki niż do porządnie zaprojektowanego i wykonanego mechanizmu. Odradzam zakup i polecam zainwestować nawet w trochę droższe, ale też lepsze napinacze.

Nice bit of kit. Really does the trick. The crank wheel is crudely cast but does the job. If you are trying to tension a fence wire this will do it for you. It won't solve all your problems but it will tension the wire.
