Simple solution that worked!
I live in a manufactured home on a concrete slab with a crawl space underneath. I was hearing random sporadic scratching & scurrying under my bathtub and bathroom floor off and on for weeks, then it became every night & sometimes during the day so I was sure then it was either a mouse or chipmunk/squirrel and it was not going anywhere. I figured before I call someone & spend $ let me try a couple of cheap options first. My grandmother used to use devices like this so i thought I'd try this 1st. I didn't want to put it under the house first just bc it would be easier if I could figure out a way to keep it inside to monitor it & have it still work. Although it said it doesn't work thru walls, I wanted to try maybe thru the floor/bathtub. I found out by accident that it would work inside another way! I had it aimed at the drain in my shower at night to see if that would work - well 1 morning my son turned on the shower & got it soaked & he put it on top of the floor air vent to dry out. While I was outside I heard this ear piercing noise & it was coming from UNDER MY HOUSE! I ran inside & found it was in audible mode bc the batteries were wet & because it was aimed down on top of the floor vent it was echoing thru all the air ducts under the house!!!! I shut it off, took the batteries out, let it dry. Once it dried out, it worked normal again (silently but flashing light every few seconds with small audible beep). I kept it face down on top of the floor vent, hoping it would reverberate thru all the air ducts again and within 2-3 weeks whatever rodent was under there previously was GONE!!!! I have not heard 1 scratch! Not 1 little sound AT ALL SINCE!!!! I keep it face down on the vent & not 1 problem since. I can't believe it actually works AND I am able to keep it inside the house to monitor when it needs the batteries replaced. It has been several months & no issues. For the money and the ease of use, it is beyond well worth it! Beats having to hire someone to go under my house & charge me $$ to eradicate & probably maintenance! I know some people say it didn't work for them & I can imagine it may not work for every situation - I'm sure different factors come into play but for the price and how simple it is, I think it is definitely worth a shot. It definitely took 2-3 weeks for it to drive this pest away so it doesn't work overnight but I have NO COMPLAINTS! I am super happy! If anything changes I will update but as I said it has been several months now & it has remained effective.

Doesnโt work
I bought this to deter chipmunks from coming in my covered patio. It appears to do nothing. I still see feces and urine in my patio. The test alarm works and a red light blinks indicates it should be working however it is not stopping then from coming in.

Works
Was afraid to use because of my pet bird. Gave to a friend with rat problem, says it works great!

Works great but I don't know why it's gotten so expensive.
I have two of these. One for my attic and one in my garage. I've never seen a rodent, spider or any kind of bug, insect, animal in my attic since getting this. I just can't believe how expensive it's become. I bought mine on amazon for about $30 each. I'm sure there's other battery operated ones that are cheaper and work just as well.

Not worked for squirrels.
It seems this product is not worked for the squirrels near my house. I put this item in my attic because my roof was damaged by squirrels and these animals went into there everyday, so I bought this device for repelling. I found that, the squirrels keep coming everyday after I put the device in the attic, and one times I saw that a squirrel standing around 6 feet away from this device, it seems it was not scared. Maybe it is work for other animals. If anyone wish to repel squirrels, I don't recommend this device.

Works
Works Was away for about a month and left my old pick up truck in the drive. Typically filled with mice on my return. It was really infested before I left. Cleaned it out and put the repeller in the cab. Much to my surprise no mice. I had even left a bag of trash in the bed so this was completely remarkable. I was ready for a typical not working. Seems dinky one red light and a pressable noise tester, but despite that keeps the mice away. Batteries lasting more than a month so far

Seriously! It works!
I was skeptical but am now a believer! I needed to keep mice out of my attic. Traps didn't work. I didn't know how they were getting in either. This was great because it was battery operated-there are no electric outlets in my attic. After 2 days, no more mice! I haven't seen or heard anything since. I don't write a lot of reviews but I was very impressed with this product ๐

Not a funny joke
Doesn't work on mice in our camper. They walk right over it. Waste of money ๐ฐ Gave it a one star since there's no option for minus stars.
