Reliable equipment
This is a very well built piece of electrical equipment and the company who makes it has a great reputation for solid products. Since I am not a licensed electrician, but have done much with electrical, I hung both pieces on my concrete block garage wall next to the main breaker box. Then, I hired a licensed contractor to finish the final connection to the main breaker box.

Works exactly as promised, great value!
This was my first time installing a manual transfer switch. There were some good YouTube videos with step-by-step instructions, making it relatively easy. If your panel is in your basement, make sure you have a hammer drill (or know someone who does!) to drill through your home exterior. Otherwise, the only things I missed to pass inspection (per my electrician friend) were that all the wires to the master panel must be outside of the 4 perimeter pegs, the conduit & conduit connector to the switch and the outlet must be water tight, and the conduit needs to be affixed to wall with a bracket when it's longer than 12in (perhaps that's just our picky local inspector, make sure to consult your applicable electrical Code).

This is the second kit that I installed, since I moved I needed another one, these work great and are ready with all the pieces you need to connect to your main panel
